LaughOutLoud, awesome. You would think somebody online looking up magic videos would be pretty open minded. Thank you for reminding me about the ignorance of this world. I mean really, picture yourself telling your friends about how you told this guy off about his fingernails, and I hope that sounds as dumb to you as it does to me. My final piece of advice would be just stop watching my videos, as awesome as they are. Your loss ... have a great day!
I'll take your advice ... and continue to improve my English, that is not my primary language ... you should take my advice and cut your nails, unless you have a show of disgust ... then ... Good Work !
Please learn proper English sentence structure and grammar. My audience has been massively supportive of me and my finger nails, so I'm not changing anything for somebody that doesn't even support me. Have a great day!
+NubzMagic Good point. I believe the 5th gen can go current. I would hate to drop $200 on a new iPod touch just for this trick though. I guess if I find more magic it might be worth it. I love my android phone, so I'm definitely not going to get an iPhone.
Yeah! I have a 4th gen iPod but it's hella slow and only is on IOS 6. IPod 4's are not able to update to the latest software. The app needs to have at least IOS 8 or more. It says so in the description of the app so a 4th gen iPod will not work. Im looking to get the new iPod 6 so thats why I wanted this reviewed!
+NubzMagic You are most welcome, and thank you for introducing me to this one. I may pick up a 4th gen iPod touch just so I can do this one out in public.

Invisible Deck app by Ellusionist (Relaunch) - Demo / Review
Ellusionist has updated their app and relaunched it ... but is it any good? Link to trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFzILAPmh_A Link to purchase trick: ...
great app and also cheap enough to buy this product but its not that
effective because it will look like this app works automatically like
whatever card you say the app will automatically turn that card.
+Márton Jakab Blatniczky dude that video is not free it cost lot of money to buy but if you want then I can give that video I have both volume 1 & volume 2
+Dragon Rage It's not automatic or based on speech recognition. It's a move you do to select the card ... so you could have the spectator write down their card and still pick it out. Very deceptive and something cool with technology.
It seems like two hours of trying and making a review is just to quick.
It's sad but most of us magicians run out and buy a trick that we love, we
then spend very little time practicing the trick and PERFECTING it. Most of
us quickly run out and show people how badly we can perform a magic trick.
We all need to SLOW DOWN! I wish you would have made a review a month later
after working out the kinks. I have had many ticks not work right when I
buy them because I simply did try long enough. I might have made a review
saying how bad something was when in fact it was just me that was bad at
it. I'm not hating in any way, just constructive criticism. Maybe don't
rush out to make a video, instead work with the magic and perfecting it,
then make a review, full with a performance, and tips on how to use it.
Opening a box and complaining it doesn't work is not what magicians should
be known for. Work hard, if that doesn't work, work harder. ✌
+David Yuhas I absolutely agree with your mentality. The painful truth of being a Youtuber is that if you wait to make a video, you basically lose out on the opportunity for views and possible subscribers. The world moves way too fast, and if I took a few months to review something there would already be new tricks out that people were looking for. That's why I went the concept of the "initial review" and then I do follow up reviews when necessary. That way I give my first impressions of the trick (and my struggles if there are any), and then later I'll follow up to let folks know how it works after spending some time with it. I think this approach has been well received just because so many people are finding they have the same difficulties as me. It helps us grow as a community when we basically learn together. And I definitely hope I didn't come off as complaining about this trick at all. I felt that it was something in my technique because obviously it worked for him. I did do a follow up video on this trick as well because I did ultimately get it work with some updates to the method I was using. I appreciate the feedback!
I unfortunately had to take my demo video down, people were claiming there were flashes and that you could see it in slow motion. So I won't be posting that again out of respect to Nathan so that I don't do a reveal. I was able to successfully do it though.
i have no idea how the trick works, and i dont intend to buy it anyways
but i am blind guessing it is a modified version of Raven
if my guess is correct, you may want to try loading the gimmick tighter
What bugged me about 52 Gone, is that in the trailer they showed the end
result of a trick, that looks like Kranzo had a woman select a card and
then he vanished the deck leaving only that card. I bought it expecting him
to teach that and sadly he did not. Now I did figure out a way to do that,
but it would have been nice if they taught that.
It's definitely a high risk situation trying to pull off any move with this particular deck. I agree that the simplest method you can come up with is the best for this application. At least we get points for creativity!
Yes that makes sense and is also another great thought. I just don't trust myself doing all of those risky sleights and using a gimmicked deck. I would be worried that the spectator would notice either the sleight or figure out its gimmicked. My thought is that the spectator won't know it's a force and a gimmicked deck. Why run when you are not being chased.
That's a pretty slick approach. I was just thinking you have a plant card that you just pull off the top of the deck and have them sign it so they know it's theirs ... that way you avoid having to force or anything. Then when you put it back in the deck, do a side steal and control to the bottom like you're going to do a Mercury Fold. Then just vanish the deck and have that card be the only one left. Hope that makes sense, it totally makes sense in my head. LaughOutLoud.
Not sure I follow. I was just thinking of cutting a card in half, inserting it in the gone 52 deck then memorising the card behind. This would essentially force the card behind the cut card. Then have a dupe on top of the deck, Palm it before I clap to make the deck vanish. Hey presto the deck has vanished leaving a selected card.
+Brandon Pearce Yeah, I had the same thought. I'll be putting up my updated video again, but I was thinking you would have to do a side steal to be the most effective. You may also be able to do a diagonal palm, but it would be a little awkward.
+Brandon Pearce how about....control to bottom and then cop the card away, (or any way you prefer to steal a card with the nondeck hand)do the vanish and show the copped card?
52 Gone by Nathan Kranzo (Updated review)

+unfortunately fortunately Thank you, I greatly appreciate you taking time out of your day to say something nasty to me. Hopefully you got something else out of the video. Have a great day!
Thanks for the review / update. Ever since YouTube put up the quarter speed
option, people are claiming flashes on everything - AFTER they watch it at
quarter speed!
Did you get this from Ellusionist, or did you get the upgraded item from
Nathan Kranzo?
+Bartholomew Simpson (The Amazing Bart) Yeah, I keep trying to watch it but some things are just super hard to control when in slow motion. Quarter speed makes it easy to figure out people's techniques these days. I got this from Ellusionist.
+Jerry Huang ... The reach is really dependent on how comfortable you are
with it. I would recommend keeping the deck as close to your body as you
can, but if you're brave you can take it a decent distance. You can
definitely switch from jacket to jacket as you want, and it shouldn't cause
any damage. I recommend this if you're looking for something different and
you generally wear an outer garment. Just know that you can't do any tricks
with the deck provided, so you'll always have to have another deck on you
to move forward with your performance. It does look pretty cool in the
mirror, especially when you make it disappear and then have a cell phone or
something there.
+Gareth Hatton Greetings! The deck cannot be used for any other effects, and it comes with a standard bicycle rider back. Mine was red, but they may offer blue as well.
+Da'Mon - The World's Worst Rapper // Magician // Tech Blogger // Gamer Hi from UK great honest review and big respect to you for removing the flash & keeping the method hidden, I just two queries before I decide to take a punt.(1) Can the deck you receive be used for other effects or just this trick (2) what back designs does the deck have eg Red/Blue Bicycle etc
