I would have to agree with the assessment of the M3 vs the M5. The M3 was a LOT of fun to play on and made me realize I kinda miss the low tier madness. The M5 however seems to get the same matchmaking as the T-50, A20, Leopard, etc... and it is in NO way comparable to those tanks! lol I think because the AMX 40 is SO slow it gets better matchmaking than the other actual scouts, but the M5 should be included in that. Almost all you can do in a high tier battle is hide. It's just not fast enough.

The M22 Locust did see some combat, however very limited. The M22 Locust was designed at the request of the British, who wanted a dedicated airborne tank to support their paratrooper infantry. However, the M22 had many issues with its design, mainly having to do with its armor being so thin in places machine gun fire could pierce it. Other than that, the hull itself was not durable enough to safely land after dropping. Another issue encountered was just how long it took to load the Locust onto the C54 which it was to be carried by. An untrained crew could get the Locust loaded in about 24 minutes, unloading took about 10 minutes. The engine the Locust was powered by was unreliable at best, and did not produce sufficient power, whether from the limited torque output or a dramatic loss in power from the transmission. All in all, the Locust was a mediocre tank when it was best, and because of that it saw almost no combat in WW2, and sparsely has since.EDIT: I decided I should give the real stats of the tank. The M22 armor was dismal. At its thickest, it got to 12mm. At its worse, such as the front where it was angled back, it was 9mm thick. Speed is accurate, topping off at around 65kph. The gun was a 37mm cannon, which was common among early American tanks. It was found far to weak to deal with the German armor at the time. In fact, Locust crews reported that when firing HE shells out of it, the explosion from the HE was so weak and small, that the observers watching for where the shot landed could not see the explosion at all. For what its worth though, it is a pretty cute tank here in WoT.

I can smoke this thing in the T-15. I love my T-15! Speaking of which he really should make a new Locust review and compare it against the T-15. It's a VERY accurate comparison. T-15 tanks weren't around when he made this.
