In this week's video I talk about Dieting Problems that I have and eating disorders. Link to last week's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96EKNFa_rj8 ...
Saw the word "diet" in the heading and reached for a chocolate bar.. :O Can
definitely relate to your Spice Bag saga as I have done the mental
(unfortunately not physical!!) aerobics way too many times to admit to!
I'm one of the ones who totally understands. I had a bad relationship with
fast food. I was enjoying it too much, and now I can say that i was
obsessed with the convenience. It was much easier to drive thru somewhere
because I was "too busy", when in reality I wasn't using my time wisely in
order to make time to make a proper meal/snack. I still have at LEAST 8
sweet teeth in my mouth, so that's my current gig I'm trying to stop. Lol
thanks for opening up this topic and creating dialogue.
Rather than saying been there/done that or being incredulous I will say "it
gets better". I'm 52 (probably your oldest fan); this sort of struggle can
be ponderous but with careful diligent daily doings you can keep it at bay.
Good luck.
You are essentially preaching to the choir here with me John. 180# at age
12 and stayed there until graduate education and then up and down and up
and down through my professional life and at one point I said "f... it" and
ate what I wanted. I was tired of feeling hungry -- really painfully
hungry; so I ate -- a lot. Up to 270# over a 10 year period. At 270 in
1984, realized I was going to die and feeling constantly, desperately,
painfully hungry was the price I'd have to pay to stay alive. I cut back
--WAY BACK (on everything). Twenty-five years later I'm back to my sixth
grade weight (although about a foot taller since I was 12) 180#. It's just
a bastard. No way around it.
Yes! YES! I have never heard it put that way. For me food is defo an
addiction. it makes me feel horrible and feeds in to my low self-esteem. I
do the "just eat" thing ALL THE TIME. I tell myself ill just do it and it
will make me feel better, then i delete it and do it again until im so
upset i give in or just go to bed. It nice to know im not the only one.
Great video :)
Would love to get this cookbook. I'm a struggling unemployed mom of 2 boys
and I'm a full time student. This cook book is too expensive ! I will keep
watching to see if your price goes down at all. I have to put my kids first.
