Question. Can you use the games if you can't connect to Wi-Fi? What else
can you use if say you can't get Wi-Fi? Thinking for my son at the hospital
where Wi-Fi is not so great.
+Irishmonkeymomma This depends on the game itself and has nothing to do with the tablet, while MANY games are requiring online connection to play them, there are still plenty that don't like Crossy Road requires no Internet connection to play. So learning and finding which ones can play offline is key to preparing to not having Wi-Fi access.
I bought a couple of these for nieces for Christmas and have learned that
you get what you pay for----they are junk!. They freeze up a lot, and will
not connect to wi fi. I bought a more expensive one for my self with the
same android os and it works like a champ right out of the box. I think
that's why they come with a card telling you to call them before you
return them-------they know they are crap. And by the way, calling them for
assistance is a big waste of time.
What more expensive one did you buy for yourself? I know others have reported that some models from the factory had Wi-Fi issues, but these are warranty for a year and Tablet Express sends a replacement if you happen to receive any one of the factory models that was defective. Overall performance is on-par if not better than other Android tablets in the $60 - $90 price range, so this means there will be sluggishness, delays in line with other tablets in same price class. Nobody can buy a sub $90 tablet and expect the performance of a Samsung Galaxy Tab, iPad or other tablet with a $250+ price range.
Well i purchased two of these. running android 4.4.2 and when i go to
create new users, going to Settings/Devices/Users ... well that last part,
is missing. There is no Users button to click on under the button for Apps
like you see in any video or photo of this screen. its just not there. i
was going to make a restricted profile to protect the kids, but its like
that feature has been removed, turned off or something. feel so dumb like
i'm just missing something. i did try password locking the device to
signify an "owner" account, and did add my google account, but still no
Users under the Device section. Wondered if anyone else has seen this or
similar? i'm going crazy!

Hey, i bought this tablet and the battery life is horrible! litterally
drains out, not even an hour or two. and the camera is way horrible. I
don't know if its something i did but im pretty sure its the tablet... have
this happened to you? i want more battery life. ugh
+Pixeled For Life Byron did tell me he got about 4 hours + battery life in his testing, so I would suggest you start by using Battery testing apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ijinshan.kbatterydoctor_en and record see where your battery drain is. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antutu.tester is good for testing the battery as well. Again, if the battery really is less than 2 hours I would open up a support case with Tablet Express, bum or damaged batteries are among the most common problems with tablets,
I will have Byron respond and confirm what battery life he is getting, but I would think at least 3 hours is typical for budget tablets in the < $100 price range. Tablet Express has a 1 year warranty on all defects, so if you bought this product from Amazon or wherever, I would contact their support and find out if you may have a battery issue or if there is something within normal. I don't see the mAh battery size on the product specs specifically. Contact Tablet Express support if you haven't yet //tabletexpress.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=10&Itemid=107
