What's wrong with this video? For starters, what about that un-grounded (2-prong) plug feeding what should be a "protected" pair of outlets? Or the idea of having a carving knife on an automatic outlet? (don't try that at home kids!) Nice product and it may be an excellent way to implement BT control, but start with low-voltage applications.

+Steve Post No, I missed the joke (if that was the intent) and I don't know anything about Nick or his sense of humor. What I do know is that people who know something (Nick I presume) should set an example for those who don't. I got to Nick's post via a link in an eMail to me (as a SparkFun customer) and so could some budding Jr. Electrician.In any case, my initial reply was as much "tounge-in-cheek" as Nick's demo was.

+ResearchAdvantage Yeah.. the 2 prong plug with 3 prong outlets bothered me too.. I know it's just a demo, and it was 'cool' to use that old school cord, but, not a good idea...
