Microsoft Surface Phone Rumors, HTC's Next Android Flagship & More - Pocketnow Daily
Watch today's Pocketnow Daily as we go through the recent leaks regarding a possible Microsoft Surface smartphone running Windows Phone 8. We later talk ...
Jamie an eight megapixel camera on the Nokia 920 will be a huge
disappointment and will kill that phone. I dont see how they could do the
lossless zooming with just eight megapixels. The camera will be on a par
with the iPhone 4s and the Samsung Galaxy 3. Good but not amazing. I am not
getting an eight megapixel camera when I had a 12 megapixel camera two
years ago with the Nokia N8. This 920 is starting to look like an oversized
Lumia 800 with better software.
a surface phone would be cool, but im allready excited for what samsung
have done, what nokia is doing and what htc could be doing. the new nokia
looks really promising but im waiting to see how it looks in person, dont
love thick phone very much. the 920 in renderings look somewhat thick.
probably look skinnier in real life. cant wait anyway
LOL, actually, the only country wich really speaks in spanish is Spain. In
Latin America we have our variants. If you understand some spanish see this
video (Que dificil es hablar el español) and you'll understand what I mean
I believe that the Firefox OS still needs a year or 2 of more development.
Next year is too early if it looks like that. But Samsung would most likely
be the OEM for OS. HTC would be the 2nd.
I think Mozilla is developing FirefoxOS with Telefonica (Movistar) and they
want to use it on cheap phones for developing markets. So i can see it
starting on Movistar branded devices.
I have heard the Lumia 920 WILL have PureView, either 8MP or 21MP. Also,
don't see the point of a 5 inch display having 1080p resolution, but would
love to see it.
I definitely see a Huawei phone running Firefox OS, this manufacturer is
really willing to be on the European and American market with whatever they
can.

Rumor: A New Nexus Program Coming Soon? Next Nexus Phone?
This is a video talking about the latest rumors in regards to Android, a new Nexus program and the next Nexus phone! Again this is all RUMOR and speculation.
I would be interested in the Nexus Program, just for the fact of multiple
Phones. I was/am excited about the possibility of five different phones,
BUT if Google really wants to take advantage of everything they should have
three five different smartphones as a normal, at least 2 different
manufactures that would make their Phablet devices, and then 2 for their 7"
Tablet or rather E-Reader, and then 1 or 2 manufactures to have a 10"
tablet. along with creating specific tablet apps.
NO! This is utter BS. but seriously that was the WHOLE point of stock
android being completely clean no OEM overlay. If its purely optional...
and not necessary i wouldnt mind it, however if it comes with some BS
overlay... im switching the iphone... xD right.. im going to BBos. :)
I don't like the program idea keep it simple pick a manufacturer and roll
out the new nexus . The product always gets watered down when there is to
many involved. As for the LG optimus who cares LG sucks make horrible
phones . LG should just quit making phones my opinion.
Exactly. I'll probably end up with a S6 or something next time around. And
my 22 month contract with Sprint is more than frequent enough to upgrade my
phone. Hell, it's been about 12 or 13 months already and the iPhone JUST
caught up to my S2. I think we'll survive!
If true the nexus program would be awesome because it sounds like users
wouldn't be forced to us custom skins; Idk about you guys but I love the
way stock android looks now but I wouldn't mind some of the added features
from Sammy on a stock android device.
I just do not understand why Google doesn't make a nexus with their
Motorola Company. Now that Google owns Motorola. You would think they'd
make their own Nexus. Or maybe their working on building the company up. I
don't know but am curious.
The manufacturer overlay sounds like a good idea but how u said "able to
pick and choose" it would be nice to have a nexus with vvm. Would be nice
to have the design look like a nexus 7 tablet just 4.7. Either way
google/android taking over.
I would rather have Nexus devices be the ones without bloatware and be
totally stock. No carrier or manufacturer BS. I don't mind Touchwiz (as a
Samsung phone owner), but I would prefer to not have it on a Nexus device.
It does sound great in my opinion...it could be true and I have heard it
before, 4.2 in November sounds insane!!!! Can't wait...I just hope Google
still keeps a great flagship device running STOCK aosp android
With the nexus program the overlay will hopefully be like a launcher such
as vanilla or blur and I like the idea of multiple ones being made that way
nexus's aren't sub par phones with awesome vanilla android
no no no no no no......I dont like fragmentation in the first
place...theres a reason why we flash custom roms on our phones..and its to
get the hell away from sense or ESPECIALLY TOUCH WIZ
Eh, it always happens. I got my S2 about 2 months before the S3 was
announced. Still VERY happy with it. I just avoid looking at the S3 specs
and reviews. ._.
I think its cool thar he gives you the facts... great subscription
potential.. I think I will
AH Show / Podcast #12 - Google Nexus Android 4.2 Special, News,Rumors and More!
What a great show we have for you this week! It Is that time again, Nexus Phone rumor time! Last week was Nexusgate fake rumors, this week we have a special ...
5 nexus devices 1. Nexus 7 2. Nexus Q 3. LG Nexus (not sure yet) 4.
(Future) Samsung Nexus 10.1 (rumor) 5. HTC 5 Nexus (I forget the name
sorry) So there's five :D maybe its not just phone but diff products, then
they'll tie into like a spider web :) think about it guys its like playing
connect the dots, Nexus Q in the middle then the rest are meant to
satellite around it, that's my theory
I don't see how having many nexus devices is negative. I'd love more
hardware options when buying a stock android device. The general public
doesn't even know what nexus is. Getting the name out there is only a good
thing.

+Bob Jewels most of the lg phones i had were call quality do to just bad electronics or i wouldnt get as many bars probably as well do to bad electronics.loved my nokia because i could change out the face plates dont remember the model number but it was a candy bar design.
+Thom Frost it was a beauty. Just don't make a call on it...lol+Stefan Svartling //www.aegindia.org/2012/11/google-nexus-4-earpiece-problems-google-nexus-4-problems/217352.htmlMy wife had a recent LG Android and the signal strength meter read -98 when my iPhone was reading -68 in the same room. Again - build quality...See I find most people are not that observant including some of the reviewers, however - if that stuff isn't important -then you have a good combo. Everyone uses a phone for a different reason and that's what spurs the competition onward. But it it will take a long time for me before I ever purchase an LG again. ;)
+Thom Frost Remember this phone? //i.imgur.com/J5PO2.jpgI had it in 2007 and people were loving the look of the phone. All 4 of them that I owned because it was a lemon.+Stefan Svartling I'm not so sure about that - didn't I read about users complaining about distorted voices when using the Nexus 4 as a phone?
I think that has changed with the Nexus 4 and hopefully the coming Optimus G2. The Nexus 4 is the first Android phone that has almost as great designed hardware as the iPhone.
+Bob Jewels i had before all the "smart phones" a lg clam phone and had to get it replaced 4 times and then sprint just asked if i would like something different.
My experience with EVERY LG phone I have had, has always been a good looking instrument. That is where it falls apart (now remember this is my experience) - they all have horrible sound quality when used as a phone and they tend to be on the cheap side in manufacture/build quality and the radio's have always been "weak". Most people don't care about that but I do.
+Stefan Svartling i am to invested in that i have bought to many app's for android to switch to any other platform.like i said if it was given to me i would give it a try but if i had to go out and buy a windows 8 phone no i wouldn't.i think there are some good designs but nothing that would make me want to rush out and get a windows phone.
