What's the most current official upgrade of Android for the LG Volt? I assume that the Lollipop upgrade is unofficial? I've heard via other reviews that the LG Volt is comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S3, but at a lower price point. Since my current device is a Galaxy S2, I'm interested in the LG Volt as a possible inexpensive device upgrade -- if I can find one with a clean ESN that can be activated on RingPlus (my recently-adopted mobile carrier).

+DOSBoxMom I just updated to a LG volt from an S3 and wanted to install 5.1 but am having some data/APN issues and cannot get ringplus to work correctly with CM12.1 or Candy 5 so far...

Download the twrp recovery image file for lg volt and flash it using a app called flashify

+Zachary Neeley I had flashed the March update and still rear camera not working. I have flashed it 3 times to triple check lol. How is your cameras holding up?

Possible. How ever 3G signal doesn't require a Sim card no data should work. Let me know if LTE works so then it means it reads a Sim card

I didn't. my LG Volt isn't connected to Boost. It's only on Wi-Fi.

Can someone lease tell me step by step how to get lollipop on an lg volt. I've searching for hours and all i found was frustration.

Google search " LG Volt all things root " and it should be the first result from Android Forums. There you will find custom roms that are Lollipop for the LG Volt. Most of them are near complete with minor issues with the cameras and no nfc working. As far as a official Lollipop update for the Volt there won't be. The Volt 2 has Lollipop right out the box.

+NykissonFuLL com concordo com você que na linha Moto a tecla virtual e funcional e discreta, mas nos LG ala é maior e bem grosseira, digo isso pq usei um LG g3 por um tempo, e comparada com o Motorola a tecla virtual da LG e bem exagerada

Os aparelhos da LG são bonitos, mas já estão muitos defasados perante a concorrência, a "moda" da vez é as tal selfies, e uma cam frontal de apenas 1 MP é muito pouco. uma cam frontal de 5, mais uma principal de 8 ou 12 seria ideal para esse aparelho.

+Antonio Bento Leal cara eu recomendo o redmi 2, que tem uma tela com maior definição melhor, um processador ligeiramente melhor e câmera frontal melhor, mas o L prime tem TV digital e por ter uma tela com uma resolução menor tem uma autonomia de bateria melhor.
