May have found a solution... Depending on what you're using (Windows 7
64-bit for example), go to Control Panel, then go to Device Manager. You
may have question marks in that list... Right click on each one of them and
click on Update Driver Software... After that, click on browse for drivers
manually... you should have your location as c:\program files (x86)\lg
electronics... hope that works.
hey asadullah, I see you put up the VM670.dll xD anyways I need to figure
out how to get the dll working with the ZV5 cab...the unbrick process I
made has one slight problem, AAA/HA keys are not kept and the activate app
won't activate the phone.....we need to get this cab working with KP500 so
that NV items are automatically backed up by the updater tool and
rewritten...
##PORT# does not work on my Optimus S (also a 670). Am i missing something?
The phone is running android 2.2 and is a refurbished phone that i just
bought from a carrier. Am i missing something? Also, I cant seem to get
LGNPST to see my dll. The register DLL right click option isnt working
either to install the dll. What a mess. =P
Hi, thanks for your video. I have Sprint version, downloaded the dll and
everything, but only got it work once, when the phone settings became
clickable. Most of the time, I could see the port in LGNPST, choose the
dll, but the phone setting button was grayed out. Do you have any thoughts
how to get it constantly working?
i cannot get DFS to read the aaa, allready read nv with lgnpst to open
phone and sent spc to phone in dfs (dfs reports Phone unlocked) then i go
to programming and choose mobile ip and read. nothing shows up for the aaa.
the other tabs such as general and nam will report values when i hit read
but not the AAA please help
I have lgnpst 1.3 installed, components installed, vm670.dll registered
successfully. When i select that .dll and double click the phone on the
list it does nothing. I select the .dll again and it was unchecked when i
opened it. Not sure why, phones in dev mode and and debugging is enabled.
I don't know what to tell you but I just checked the links and they are all
working. I changed the vs660 link to a more direct link. Didn't know that
the author of that thread put that adfly in there.
Maybe I'm missing something but many of the files, specifically the dll
files (VS660/LS670), aren't in these downloads. And now LGNPST no longer
recognizes any port my phone is on.
@Sammyz4Him need to remake the cab file. I know that people say that it has
to be done a special way but i don't think so. Just like when folks said we
couldn't flash a new radio
It is. You messed up somewhere along the line. try uninstalling everything
rebooting your computer then reinstalling everything and following the
video again
I downloaded that and it did work for LG. However, when i go to DFS, it
shows me Nothing for AAA key or HA key.
Optimus V flashlight feature test review for the Android based Virgin Mobile LG smart phone vm670
I will show you how to use the flashlight feature on the LG Optimus V Android phone from Virgin Mobile. Thanks for watching, please subscribe, I have more ...
@marcus200275347 - The screen on the phone was much brighter than the
ambient light in the room. I adjusted my camera's settings (aperture) to
match the screen so it made the rest of the room appear dark.
@QUIKKSTAR actually I agree with you 100%. My sister uses MyTouch 3G and I
use Optimus V and so far I made HUNDREDS of comparisons lol The ONLY time
when MyTouch3G wins is when it comes to GPS speed BUT because she uses
T-Mobile's network and I use Virgin Mobile.T-Mobile has better reception in
my area. Other then that speed, battery, screen quality, design Optimus V bits
the dog out of MyTouch. ...oh yeah and the trackball is nice on
MyTouch3G,something that LG doesn't have.
@s41510 yup.But if you "root" your phone(find out how to do it on my other
video) you can install an app called "SetCPU" and increase(overclock) your
CPU's frequency and make it run faster(just like you do it on your
computer). That way you can cut lagging partially but not fully, and keep in
mind that SetCPU is not a free app and it's not 100% guaranteed that your
phone will run faster.I personally prefer to leave my CPU the way it is.
@vardanologist Yeah but trackballs don't last long and thats why
manufacturers opted out for trackpads. I had a myTouch 3G and it was ok in
the first month then its flaw came out the anus like diarrhea! Worst phone
ever! Piece of shit phone freezes up all the time and it just got worst on
Android updates. I got rid of that shit like 2 yrs ago lol. My mom has
Optimus V and she loves it. I will gettin me a Optimus T next
@emailme23 This is general compasiron, whatever performance you get right
from the box. That's why I don't care about what software they have. Thanks
for watching.
Yeah so an I. I thought my phone was defective. I'm new to the whole
android /smartphone thing. So the lagging isn't because ita broken its just
crappy huh
@MrBenjaminWiggins Great, then I will give ATK a go. its nice to switch out
apps from time to time that makes the android device 'fresh' all over
again. Yes, that tip helps a lot, thanks man! Looking forward to your next
review! I havent taken the root plunge yet but will soon. still waiting to
get the full capacity of my unrooted until its a must for me to dig deeper.
@RicoANDROID Before I rooted my phone I used Advanced Task Killer, and
LOVED it. The widget was the best part, putting it on your home screen for
easy and available task killing. ATK is my personal preference, as I have
tinkered with a few others. Hope I helped!
Like the review! whats your take on eTask Killer vs Advanced Task Killer
(my streak is not rooted). From your video, i can see Advanced Task Killer
is nicer than eTask Killer (by EStrong)
Hi! I have been having problems with my intercept too since the update! But
I don't have insurance on my phone do u think VM will still replace it?
It's driving me nuts! i can barely even use it :/
thanks a lot i just got this phone yesterday and your reviews really helped
me as far as apps go thank you sassygirl8324..!! im talking about the
flowery wallpaper sorry..lol
What is it that you actually do? You get sent free phones from virgin
mobile to review them. I love tech and i would like to know what its called
when you review cell phones.
@zamusicza Hello and thank you for such kind words and suggestions I will
definitely check them out. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful
weekend..
