Hey, I Just Want to thank you for posting the info & files. People need to understand that the name of the file #MMCROOT (ROOT).BIN need to be change to #MMCROOT.BIN I copy all the files to the SD Card as you said and i recover the tablet that i was planning to put in the trash can! ...THANKS AGAIN!

Oh yes definitely. The only changes made is just bloatware removed, root added and so on. I'm sure wifi sync will work to. The wifi itself though is a bit unstable even on stock rom. It has the tendency to work only when it wants to no matter what you do.

The App used to access printer features.  So to use the ZEEN to scan/copy/fax.Would like to know if the wifi sync works too?(Basically: do all these roms contain the default apps required to setup and use the printer from the tablet)

Not at all. Any mmcroot (except for the out of the box experience) will work for your tablet.

Good Morning. I need some additional help here. I downloaded the 3 files, all of which are .bin files. I copied these 3 files to the root of the SD card (there is nothing else on the SD card but the 3 .bin files. I went thru the steps, saw the blue bar, then got the prompt for removing the SD card and then push any button to turn off. I do this, and then it powers off and does nothing. So, I push the power button and it turns on, but all I get is the first white "HP Photosmart Estation" and then a second screen about 10 seconds later with the same words, but also has the message in small letters at the bottom of the screen about the Adobe reader. It cycles back and forth thru these 2 screens, but goes no further. So, I then attempted to load the mmcroot (stock).bin and the same thing occurs. So, need some more help here. First, am I doing it correctly with the 3 .bin files on the SD card. The links above are not ZIP files, as indicated in your video. The links are .bin files, which I am assuming are the extracted files. I would appreciate any further assistance you can offer, as I am very frustrated with this and HP support is worthless. Thanks!

No problem. I also have this weird problem when I boot my Zeen it will not go past the HP logo unless reboot it while having it docked. And cheers man. Glad it worked for you :)

Hello. I read what U wrote and I can tell I ran into same problem. It kept rebooting so on and so forth. TO SOLVE IT it`s simple. After you download the .bin files and put em on SD card u have TO RENAME the file #MMCROOT (ROOT).BIN  to #MMCROOT.BIN and after that start the boot procedure. You will notice that the second BLUE BAR will take more time to complete which is normal, don`t worry, it is actually doing the JOB properly. At finish point it will require a shutdown/reboot as we all know. After that it will no longer reboot on&on, it will take more time, be patient! My Hp stuck at some point on the HP logo in circle...just powered it OFF and ON back again. AND VOILA, IT WORKED. Thanks to VIP and all folks who worked for doing this UNBLOCK ! Cheers

The .bin is the extension format that will let the device recognize the files on the SDCard. No need to open it up or extracting it. I believe I had a similar problem, I just can't remember how I did. As long as you are at the recovery, you're still lucky. Have you tried almost every mmcroot.bin? Don't use the stock version if you don't have a printer.HP support will not help you or honor your device in any way, shape, or form. Most of them don't have the knowledge to help any of their customers. Also, they will just assume you messed with the software which is pretty ridiculous.P.S. Sorry for the delayed response. Been busy with family and so on.
