Cashew Cheese (without the expensive Pro-biotics)
Easy recipe for raw foodies who love cheese. Easy recipe for foodies who love cheese and are looking for healthy alternatives to dairy products. Allergic to ...
Hi. How long do you soak the cashews for? The 'cheese' looks delicious. I
heard that cashews aren't actually raw ... does anyone know for sure. I
will make the recipe regardless .
+sheraine zeffrienne Hmm.. probably overnight (as I would always have some soaking just in case). A minimum of 2 hours though. I've heard that too. In fact, that no nuts are raw. I will eat and cook with nuts too regardless. Are you living the 100% raw life?
Probiotics are not expensive. You can find a plant-based (vegan) probiotic
on Vitacost for under $6. Plus, everyone NEEDS probiotics especially if
they're diet is lacking which most are. They are very beneficial to the
digestive tract.
+Dideric van den Berg Hi I see your point, however we are connately being bombarded with things that destroy our Gut flora and for centuries daily consumption of fermented food replaces what is lost to keep the balance.
Your statement about probiotics is born of ignorance and misinformation. We have tons of natural bacteria inside of us. And not just a few kinds like the ones found in dairy etc. Taking in too many external probiotics too regularly can actually damage your bodies ability to create it's own and leave you more susceptible to attack from other virus and bacteria in a similar way that mono crop farming does. Just saying. People shouldn't believe everything they see on the Internet anyway but I see this about probiotics a lot.
I love the recipe, I like the video - thank you so much for making an
