Mike loves eating avocados! Besides being delicious, they are loaded with vitamins and antioxidants that will help you live a healthier life. Live longer too!
Hey I wanted to share something with you. My grandmother likes to make a
salad with these. She first makes a salsa with chopped red onions and will
put the juice of two limes or lemons and some sea salt to taste. Then mi,
you scrunch the mixture with your hand to encourage the onion to get
"cooked" with the lemon/salt mixture, finally she tosses in the avocado and
serve it on a bed of romain lettuce. Its delicious, hope you'll try it. :)
Avocados are fatty. And when I gave up meat and salami and pepperoni I had
terrible cravings for fat. I've never had a sweet tooth. I don't even
like the taste of sweet. To me sweet tastes gross and it leaves a nasty
taste in my mouth. But giving up fatty meats was really hard. The one
thing I could go to in order to satisfy my fat tooth was avocados. I love
any recipe which involves avocados.

To think we get all of this healthy stuff AND wonderful flavor in one
fruit! Love 'em, We eat them as you do; a little salt on a warm flour
tortilla. Mmmmm. Thanks for the info. Did you know that if you leave an
avacado to ripen on the counter (to whatever your degree of ripe), and put
it in the fridge, it will last for several weeks?
You didn't mention that you can grow your own tree from every avocado pit
you acquire (as long as you do it right). Have you tried it,
Mike?.....there are plenty of videos on how to do this, and with a little
trial and error, you too will know how to do it right.
I always add sweetness to mine with pretty much anything I have at
home...home made fruit preserve or honey and sprinkle them with nuts. Also:
I love your videos. Very short and straight to the point.
do you leave them a few days until they are soft before you eat them? they
are hard and taste awful when you first buy them but after 4 or 5 days they
are soft and creamy and delicious in sandwiches!

eat them because they're so heatlhy but I can't 'cause I can't stand the
taste of them... :D
Yes a lot of people freak out about the calories in avocados, but most
people don't understand the difference between something that is
"low-calorie" and "healthy".
Love avocados, great fat for brain and heart... we need fats for skin too.
