She obviously suffered from depression way before that. If people kill themselves over screwing up or losing their job just like that we wouldn't have overpopulation problems. Really bad luck for those two, it's like driving a car and someone suicidal jumps in front of you.

a stupid joke , but the real issue is the lofty pedestal the british public place the royals on which compels this woman to take her own life because she fell for a prank which ( god forbid ! ) also pranked the royals & therefore she thought she was " a less than loyal subject of her majesty " . the whole sycophantic / pander to the royals grovel makes me sick !

+Dennis Reynolds The fact they laughed at the nurse for giving out info is enough to make anyone feel stupid and being duped by them is an awful feeling. And that nurse didn't realize that that could have been anyone who was trying to get information on the royal family and that presents a serious danger... so the nurse was overwhelmed by that.

You do not get it do you??? It's not about the prank or the dialogue used. It is about responsibility and consequences. They were quite happy to take the glory when it aired at the time but when the worst case scenario occurred (and let's face it, complete worst case scenario) they then distanced themselves from it completely. Their tears should be for the family of the lady not for themselves. No they are not murderers no, they did not provoke suicide (that part I do agree with you) but yes they must accept responsibility..

No, bottom line is SHE urged to have the nurses real names voice over! TodayFM failed to do so. Can you truly blame someone, who had no belief that it would be THAT damn easy to fool nurses when it comes to ROYALTY? Come on! The nurses should have been far more cautious than they were and I'm sorry for saying...actually, no I'm not...buy anyone who takes their own lives, leaving their own children behind, doesn't deserve sympathy to me. And have you even seen the suicide note Jacintha left? Let me reminf you the last sentence, "Please make them (the radio hosts) pay for my mortgage..." ARE YOU FLIPPIN' SERIOUS?! That says it ALL to me.
