Mayhem in Monday math class! A female student at Cesar Chavez High School in Stockton, California, was suspended and her math teacher put on paid leave ...
My daughter is in that class and the little girl has a really bad attitude
and was also in the wrong. The school policy is NO cell phones, there is no
reason to be applying make up in class and she asked her not to put her
hands on her three times. She cursed the teacher out and was totally out of
line. Every child in the class thought she was in the wrong also. If she
wasn't, there is no way the children would have come to that conclusion.
You also can clearly see the girl threw a punch also.
ok this is my last comment. The judge is saying the teacher should have
asked mrs. Martinez to put the make up away. once Martinez did not comply,
then the panic button should have been pushed for a non compliant student.
Then security comes in and does their job. Comply! Martinez doesn't comply,
then. STEP OUT! Martinez don't step out...then Martinez gets exactly what
the teacher gave her...but from the right person. her job is to teach, his
job is to make you comply.
It was Marlina 's fault. Marlina was putting make up in class, she know she
should not. I believed that the teacher must have told Marlina to put her
make up away and she didn't even cared to listen. After her teacher took
the make up, then she went up to the teacher and told the teacher to give
it back. Then you can see and tell she was trying to fight back for her
stuff.
I would think that who threw the first punch wasn't as important as the
constant threatening presence the student was posing to the teacher.
Remember, in a moment of panic and in an effort to protect herself, the
teacher pushed the student back; notice also that the teacher pushed with
crossed arms, not hands, which is a defensive move.
I have to say it was the teacher's fault because she should of told her to
calm down but instead she pushed her then they started fighting. The
teacher started the fight and the student didn't, the student did something
wrong, I know, but the teacher shouldn't of fought.
Because the mom took side and felt that her daughter did no wrong, the mom
should be held liablity for being involved. The kid's entitlement gone
wayyy too far in this present generation. We need more cops in schools.
The student was totally at fault. Kids today are out of control and
disrespectful!!! The student totally instigated the fight. The fight was
going to happen any way based on the students aggressive behavior.
She's not allowed to have a cellphone in the class room period. Everything
after that was the fault of the student. Not all classrooms have "panic
buttons" she is clearly poorly trained at home
Plus, the girl punches her hand a few times, further escalating the
threats. Both are in the wrong for the behavior and reactions, but it seems
as if the teacher was protecting herself.
This has been going on for many years. I'm 50 years old. I've seen more
student/teachers fights than I can stand. This was an ol' school teacher
who gave a new a$$ whooping.
They need to grow up just a bunch of girls having a fight why should the
teacher hit that girl but also why should the girl punch the teacher I
think it's the time of the month
Hope the student gets charged with assault. Teacher did the right thing.
Kids these days aint soft and need some more slaps to keep them in their
place.
