3D head tracking after effects tutorial
Learn a sweet little "hack" to do a 3D head turn track. The normal tracker in After Effects won't work for this situation, so I had to come up with a different way of ...
All of the tutorial s I have watched from you are fantastic :D THX a lot
for making them :D I am hoping that you will make a tutorial on how did
Andrew Kramer make the 3D helmet on his brothers head in one of his
presentation videos....... :D
+After Effects Tutorials w/ Mikey Yeah I think I understand that this is part of what he did, after this he used the tracking data somehow to add a helmet on the head with Element 3D......how.. :D
+Ivan Li I haven't tried it, but it should work. a helmet would be able to cover the whole head, but sunglasses would need to be masked probably to make it look right.
this is an awesome tutorial, thanks alot,i wanted to do something like this
in ae with an entire wolf head or cartoon head,if you could make a tutorial
on how to do that id be really grateful
+Tariq Alrubaiai If you are on CC, then go to preferences-Previews-GPU information and click on enable untested GPU, if you are on CS6 try this. //www.vidmuze.com/how-to-enable-gpu-cuda-in-adobe-cs6-for-mac/
You really do explain things so well. This is the first time of me using
After Effect and all the other tutorials that I've looked for on youtube.
None of them explain as well as you.
Yea keep them coming. Your how to do animation for beginners help on the animation and then the turning head help do the finishing touch on my school assignment. The only trouble that I'm having right now is keeping the rotation of the head at the end.
+My diary He uses Photoshop for drawing and Adobe After Effects for animating :)
CREATE A DECAPITATED ZOMBIE HEAD IN AFTER EFFECTS ! - MarchingDead
Hey guys! It's another Friday of #theMarchingDead! The vfx Training Series where I make my best attempt to imitate an effect from the tv show 'the Walking Dead' ...
I don't see why you needed a green screen.... You could have just masked
your body out.... Just use a tripod and get a clean plate... You can always
add a handheld camera effect later.
You have some very good points but the greenscreen makes it easier. If you try masking it out, depending on the movement the neck does your points of the mask wont line up (Thats even what they did for the walking dead) and i didnt want to use a tripod because I wanted to show how to do tracking.
Hey man new to the channel and loving all the contents! What version of AE
are you using ? Is AE CC 12 the latest one ? Does it have all the features
of CS6 ? And sorry for asking so many noob questions :P
+Kaushik Sivaji That sounds like a really nice set up! I am currently taking a look at making the switch to SSD but I am still not too familiar with it all. I think I will do my fair amount of research as well and then possibly make a video on it. Let me know how everything goes!
Hey +KriscoartProductions thanks for the reply! I've ordered of a PC with 2TB HDD,128 SSD, 32GB Ram, nVidia GTX645 and Core i5 4th Gen. After doing some research I could buy only these on my budget. After the PC arrives i'll ask you again how to go about setting up the configurations for video editing as that is my main purpose( want to do some cool effect like yours!!). I've read everywhere about the use SSD as a must for editing but have no idea how to set it up in premiere pro or AE. And once again thanks for taking the time to reply!Cheers!
Hi! thanks for checking my stuff out! I use After Effects CS6 and I'm not sure what the latest one is, I haven't made the Creative Cloud Switch and I'm not sure how many more feature they've added since CS6. I use a 15" Macbook Pro to edit all of my videos however if you are looking to buy a computer, go for a PC. You can get a much more powerful system for much cheaper. I am thinking of upgrading my laptop by adding two Solid State Drives and some more RAM. Hope this helps, and feel free to ask me as many questions as you'd like!
