I learned a lot. I can relate with patients that are scared of surgery. However, as Dr. Rana has said, most patients go through surgery successfully and undergo a significant improvement in their quality of life. Thus, surgery is worth the risk (unless the physician deems them unfit for surgery by assessing cognitive or psychiatric conditions).
