I understand those experiments are important, but I hate the fact that it
has to be done on animals. Why not put those prisioners who are sentenced
in death penalty? at least they would be usefull for something.
+Peter Jones oh, got it. But cows and chickens are used as food for a good part of the world. So they are very important for us. But prisoners in death penalty don't have a particular use.
+Bruno Mendonça What I am trying to say is that using 'it is going to die anyway' as a reason to perform human experiment is not acceptable, many animals such as cows and chicken would fall under the same category. It should not be a definitive criteria for animal experimentation
This is messed up. Monkeys are being test subjects for science. Just why?!
I hate animal cruelty especially if scientists says “They are test
subjects" It is just sad.
+Mouse M Tell me if your mother were about to die from a heart failure, and the doctor has a choice to kill a live pig and use its heart but requires your authorisation first, would you authorise it?
+BluePandaGeek Because without it, you wouldn't be here. All of humanity would be suffering many times more without animal experimentation. So the question comes down to which life do you value more, a human's? (your fellow species) or a monkey's.. the answer is there.
Your right, I hate it when people say they are doing it for science because I believe everything that's living and has the ability to breath is equal as humanity if they wanted to experiment they might as well have experimented on themselves
