I went natural in September. I cut 3 inches off on Dec 5 should I cut again
next month. Now my hair is about 7 inches long I am scared to do a big chop
. any tips or helpful advice?
+aaliyah bunch I big chopped in November and trust me when I say, there will come a day where you are just sick of your relaxed ends and you'll just cut it all off. Don't push yourself to cut it if you don't want to. Don't let anyone tell you that you're not beautiful with your natural hair, and don't be nervous. Remember to not let hair define who you are :)
Hello. I want to begin my transition to natural hair. My last relaxer was
on november 11th. I would like to not use heat but my hair stylist tells me
if i dont come in to get my hair pressed every 2-3 weeks my hair will fall
out:( If anyone knows anymore about transitioning with heat(even though I
would not like to use it) please let me know. Beautiful hair by the way!
+Anisa A baby your hairstylist is lying to you. I got my last relaxer in the beginning of the eight grade, I'm now in the ninth grade and I big chopped this November. I used heat on my hair which was a huge mistake because I'm now transitioning out of heat damage. No heat is probably the best thing for you. Use shampoos for natural hair like the Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner and use products with low or no sulfates. Good Luck :)
My hair is honestly so hard to work with. I've come to the point where I
just want to cut it off. I wish I had hair like yours, I've got Afro curly
hair but it's so thick and I just can't comb the back. I want to grow it
all out but nothing's working. I don't want to chop it all off either, it
takes forever for my hair to grow. What do I do?? Help?!
If you don't want your hair to be curly no More you can get Japanese straightened and it can also help you figure out if your hair still grows but once you do Japanese straightening its gonna be permanent but your Roots will grow curly
