That's great that your getting banded! I was banded on 1-21-2011 so I am 4 weeks and 3 day post op. the biggest piece of advise I can give anyone for post op is to buy the Extra Strength chewable GAS-X pills. I was in so much pain from Gas the put into your body it was horrible! and about 1 hour After taking the Gas-X I was Feeling a million times better and the next day I have no pain at all from the gas! I had my surgery on a Friday and I was back at work Monday! GOOD LUCK! keep posting vidoes

I have Cigna also, out of Tennessee. How did you go about talking with your insurance company. Did you meet with the doctor first, or get approved with cigna before going to the doctore? I really want to get this done, but have no idea where to even start :(

I got the lapband on the 27th of December 2011. and afterwards I had lots of gas especially in upper shoulder blades. But its all worth it. Ive lost 27 lbs so far and getting a fill this Thursday.
