Healthy Weight: One Week Later
We catch up with Becca and Fred one week after her weight loss surgery was broadcast live on Twitter on Wednesday, Sept. 12. How is she feeling?
It is nice to see a couple going thru the same experience together and
doing it as a couple will help your success. You will be each other
support! I had my gastric bypass with Dr Chua on July 28, 2009 I walk out
of the hospital on no diabetes meds, no high blood pressure meds, or no
high cholestrol meds either and to this day I still don't take them. I can
say that is the best feeling not to have to be on all those meds. Feels
good to be able to bend down and tie your shoes.
I highly recommend EAS carbAdvantage chocolate fudge protein shakes 110
calories and 17 gm of protein they are already made you can get a case of
24 for $28 at sams club. I try the powders I just gag these are the only
one I ever like and still drink them daily. Are both of you getting the
band done? sorry so many post it limits how much you can type ;(
The losing is the easy part it is keeping it off is the hardest part. It
was always my biggest fear of gaining the weigh back. I went from 317.6 lbs
to 135 in 13 months. Then after that I went back to 180s but currently
struggling in the low 170's sometimes I get in the 160's and I workout at
the gym 6 days a week. I can eat alot more now.
I also highly recommend exercise! It will help alot with the weight loss
and maintance. I wish you and your husband luck with your weight loss
journey.
