Hey nice tutorial, but you should really explain what does every value does, so we can understand it an use it as we need, instead of just telling us, put this, use fresnel etc etc.

how come in the new vray the specular layers go from 5 to 1 instead of from 1 to 5?

+Gianflavio FX I honestly dont know. Perhaps they wanted to the bottom one to start at 1, as in the first layer being on the bottom.

+harouda mouha j'ai un MacPro 16 coeurs, 32 Go de Ram, carte graphique ATI Radeon HD, je te le deconseil :) puiske 3DS MAX et Mac sont pas compatible, donc j'ai installé windows;)

mấy bác cho e hỏi, e cài max 2016 như a dungkaka chia sẻ , mà sao e bấm M để áp màu sao ko có cái quả tròn tròn như trong vieo nhỉ, e cũng đã cài vray 3.20.3 rồi

I have a free Bentley model to give away for Cinema 4D users that use VrayforC4D as a renderer. It contains all the materials, a studio with lighting, a camera and ofcourse all the render settings setup the way I have. mennoweerepas.nl/c4d-freebies

vray uses up to 20 layers as suchper material, cinema uses less than 8 real layers. No wonder Vray looks super realistic.
