i coulnt record me fighting against bison and akuma because i thought i was
recording with hypercam but it was off, they should create save state for
this game.
What? The Robot Masters in all of the original Megaman franchise are a
piece of cake compared to the Street Fighters! Those are just plain

I actually laughed at that. "Misdirection?" Really? The analogy was weak to
begin with because you were comparing apples to oranges (or, more
accurately, apples to nuclear warheads). The point is that you got butthurt
because of a stupid YouTube video and then get defensive when everyone
tries to reason with you because your behavior was inappropriate (i.e.

comic on the early hours of the day about your video description. Quarter

For me, maybe just for me at least, this game is not that hard, but is kind
of broken, starting for the fact that you cant save, you can block enemies
shoots with the blaster (i guess thats from SF ?) it just need a little bit
of Capcom's job and would be a great game. And i dont agree with "its free,
it can be bad" i think that if its free it can be a chance to make a great
game and make happy to your fans. Again thats just my oppinion. the game is
still enjoyable.
The Esc is not a crash, that's how the game's control work as noted in the
text file that comes with the game. Also, part of the difficulty you have
against the enemy is that you're not using charged shot. That wheel guy
which is invincible most of the time? One fully charged shot and he's done.
The guy that teleport in Dhalsim stage is a pain though. Note however that
he always teleport just above you. The game is not as hard as you might
currently think it is.
Oh, and three ways to make news easily off the top of my head. 1. Send
bogus anonymous death threat online to random government office. 2. Run
down a street filled with pedestrians naked (or wear a yellow thong if
you're self conscious) whilst singing "Yankee Doodle" at the top of your
lungs. (C'mon, a couple of nights in jail won't kill you). 3. Start
spontaneous charity organization on Facebook or YouTube. Kindly ask for
donations to a good cause.
the game seems to lack the level design that makes megaman great the usual
pattern is 'heres an obstacle' followed by 'heres that same obstacle
fucking you' ending with 'heres that obstacle dp'ing you in comination with
the obstacles from earlier this game seems to open with dp'ing you with
everything before suggesting the manner in which the act will take place
Also something contrast with Megaman classic games, the user normally only
goes forward (with exceptions when you're looking for some special item).
This game has a lot of occasions you have to go backwards, what got me a
little lost on some levels. By the way NL, there's a recent indie game you
should do a let's look at, Hotline Miami (seems pretty cool)

You missed charge shot and slide (down and jump)! The excuse for a no save
feature (which really is inexcusable) is a nod to SFII's gameplay. The
levels are all pretty short and easy, whereas the bosses are the true
challenge but it's short enough to beat in one sitting so I feel that the
lack of save isn't really a problem.
Ugh. Scumbag Northernlion doesn't know he can a.) charge the buster, b.)
slide, c) go up and down an elevator and d.) use one of his several E Tanks
to help against the boss. He keeps talking about classic Mega Man, but
you'd think he'd never played a Mega Man game in his life.
There's a huge controversy surrounding that game right now, Valve even put
the game's sales on hold and offered to refund buyers due to the severe
nature of the situation. Supposedly they're engaging in some kinda
fraudulent activity with this game from what I gathered so far.
you control the elevator up and down, nl doesnt know what he is doing. the
game isnt perfect but all the street fighter bosses are fantastic. The game
also has secrets and small street fighter things like perfect! when you
beat the boss without taking damage.
I would suggest you look at the progress of Mega Man Unlimited. Another
completely custom fan-made mega man game with custom bosses, not a
cross-over. And to be frank it looks absolutely fantastic and has been in
development for a few years now.
theres a charge shot , hold shoot button and the slide button hold down and
jump button to slide , to use E tank press start button and move the cursor
with up button to E Tank till its highlighted then hit the shoot button to
use it.
there is a big difference between a review, and a first impression. A
review is how the person feels after playing the whole game and has an
understanding of it. A first impression is your impression after 30mins to
an hour.
How could this game *possibly* not have saving? Also, on an unrelated note,

Fan made doesn't mean it deserves recognition. I can name you thousands of
fan made stuff that no one appreciates for good reason. My comment gets

Sorry, but this looks so bad. The layout of these levels is completely
uninspired. You can absolutely tell it was fan made. Those elevators that
caused the screen to transition over and over are so dumb

i hate AAA gaming companies with a FUCKING PASSION!

You have no Idea NL I got Rose Chun LI Rolento and Viper done then I went
to pause and I'm so used to ESC being pause I exited out and had to
completely start from scratch. I feel the no save pain....
Northernlion didn't realize you could control the elevators without
jumping.. also he had the charge beam that he never used once. The
elevators arent as big of a deal as they seemed in this video.
A new difficulty of hard, like beat all the bosses without dieing :/

Hey NL, I hope you get the chance to do a let play of Hotline Miami, or at
least a lets look at, I'm surprised that didn't get on your radar since
it's got allot of positive reviews on the net.
Don't judge something on looks. I'd actually suggest giving it a try and
not assuming the worst from just watching someone else play. ive played it
and its not as bad as it seems.
Two things i have a problem with your complains, one it is an indie game so
you shouldn't have excepted much and it is from capcom, we all know they do
not release a full game.
as far i know, the game wasnt made by capcom, but by fans, and it got the
"support" of capcom, and by suport i mean plastered their logo and then
post it in their website
The game is made in Game Maker and the guy didn't know how to polish it.
That explains that F4 changing resolution, and ESC quitting the game. Still
a fine game though.
Things you did wrong. You never charge the mega buster, you need to slide,
and the elevators can be controlled by standing on it and pushing up or
down.
I just beat the game, like, 10 minutes ago. All the while thinking "Where's
Seth? Wait, where's SAGAT!?" Then I see the video... though I would
certainly not mind another update with even more, but hey, it's a fan-game,
so I'm just glad to get what I can get. I actually prefer the lack of a
password system: Gives me that rush of "I can NOT lose! I am NOT wasting
the next _ hours doing this again!". Heh...

Just made 4 PERFECTS against Chun Li, Dhalsim, Blanka and Balrog to unlock
Akuma and then made 4 PERFECT against Chun Li, Dhalsim, Blanka and Ryu to
unlock Sagat. But dam it is hard to beat Sagat Mr Bison and Akuma.. still I
beated them. MAKE A SEQUEL for FREE!
Replying with trite insults and assuming someone is a "retard" doesn't say

The sad thing is that this isn't even called MegaMan X Street Fighter, that
how much Capcom snubs MegaMan. Normally the gameplay style of the game goes

game is buggy as fuck, they had to give it away for free. and the slow down
eventually effects everyone at some point, it's not one or two people with
outdated pc's shit, if I can run skyrim but not this there is a serious
prob.

any features or support beyond what is initially provided. Learn to read
the fine print.
This runs just fine on my Windows 7 Laptop, and I honestly don't see why so
many people hate this. It's a great, fun game in my opinion and I enjoyed
it heavily.

I know it's fairly redundant, but I kind of wish there was a versus mode
where you could play any of the characters in a 1 v 1 fight, a la the boss
battles.
The password system is true to the original 8-bit games. I see no problem
with it.

You learn patterns and non-patterns faster than some gamers. You adapt and
you react well. I'm quite sure quite a few people had a lot of difficulty,
especially on Dahlim or whatever his name was.
Street Fighter x Mega Man Blind Run - Pt 6 - Endurance Takes its Toll
Upon finally defeating Vega, we reach the standard of Mega Man, the rematch stage... and this is not a particularly fun group to fight in an endurance run.
I never really liked the whole concept of boss rushes... This game as a
whole seemed to be lacking in the boss department, based on looking at
least. Just because you're making a boss based on a fighting game character
doesn't mean you can't plan out how the boss fight is going to go. These
guys just use their moves randomly. That said, the enemy design looks
fantastic. I don't mind that there don't seem to be any platforming
challenges, if you want a game to be about fighting enemies, ok then.
I know you know the weaknesses now, but come on roahm. Just because you
tend not to use the weaknesses, doesn't mean you should forget just how
broken the weaknesses are. Just because the weapon you are using hits more
than 1 hit per use doesn't mean its the weakness, the weakness should kill
the robot master in like 5 or 6 hits, if you aren't killing them with
blinding speed, you obviously haven't found the weakness yet. The
watermelon against ryo should be like ok... not good enough!
Another reason why I just don't like Rolento in this game. His weakness,
like a lot of the other weaknesses, doesn't feel like it was designed to
work well against him at all, whereas you need to walk into him with the
actual shield to do major damage. And seeing as how he's a cheap jumping
bastard, e will do as much damage to you by jumping into you as you jumping
into him with your shield -.- Special attacks feel more like they want to
penalize you for using them...
Even though the original Mega Man had no save feature, it only had 10
stages and had potentially 2 of the shortest stages in Mega Man history
[Guts man which is only like a minute and Wily 3 which is also a minute or
under if you rush it.] Plus MM1 is definitely not the hardest game in the
series. Still though this game could have at LEAST used a password feature.
I know nothing about programming, but could a password system be THAT hard
to implement?
This is honestly where I got super exhausted, hibernated the only computer
I have that can run the game properly (the dying netbook, not the
superpowered gaming system, ugh) and haven't wanted to turn it back on. The
abuse of invincibility times, the crappy weaknesses, and the too many
attacks thing all of the bosses use, in addition to not being pattern
based, drove me nuts. This game was sort of a let down for me, but this LP
has not been :)
Well, you do have to account for how many lives you have, what bosses
you've beaten, how many PERFECTS you've gotten (only because of the secret
boss that requires 3), and how many E tanks you have. So there's many
combinations, like "Beaten Blanka and Ryu, 0 perfects 1 E tank, 4 lives" or
"Beaten all bosses but Rolento, 2 perfects, 2 E tanks, 2 lives"
Considering Rematch stage, posting this for those who want it: Blanka >
Rose (Go for Traps, over kicking it at her) > Rolento (Hit Him with the
shield part, not the bullets )> Urien (It can break his shield from his
super) > Ryu (Game Shows you this in the weapon demo when you get it) >
Chun-Li > C Viper > Dhalsim > Blanka
If you run out of watermelon attack against ryu that should be another
clue, the weakness isn't going to run out, if you connect with your attacks
they are going to die way before you lose your energy most of the time.
Despite my questioning to your assumptions, I still love your videos! Best
megaman player evar
Oh god this level. Don't feel bad, I never found the powerups in the orbs,
so I was only able to beat the level by learning to beat all 8 bosses on 3
energy bars. Every single blind LP I watch of this, you guys always find
that powerup in like the first 10 seconds and it always makes me feel so
stupid. >.
The E-tanks that randomly spawn in certain locations sometimes erase
E-tanks from other locations. The Ryu stage E-tank is a fairly consistent
bug that happens if you don't get an E-tank from a different stage. Others
are more random. I got one in the middle of nowhere on Blanka's stage.
For that E-Tank in the refight stage, I placed a melon on the ground and
switched to Lightning Kick before jumping on it. That lets you get up high
enough to kick the totem pole thing while on the ascent. You still have to
do it multiple times to grab that one, though.
Urien > Ryu (Both appear in Street Fighter 3 series) Rose > Rolento (Both
appear in Street Fighter Alpha series) Chun Li > C.Viper (Both appear in
Street Fighter 4) Dhalsim > Blanka (Both appear in Street Fighter 2 and

Gah! Didn't know the rotating white and black orbs could be shot for
health, energy, fun and profit!! I thought the rush was operating under MM1
rules this whole time... Man, I feel stupid...
I don't know about that being a bug, I saw an E-Tank in the exact same area
in Ryu's stage. Also, I'm pretty sure Ryu's weakness is the reflector.
Rose's weakness is the watermelon.
@Tezzypro : Apparently this is a bug in the game. It hit me in Ryu's stage,
where an E-Tank spawned sticking out of a wall. People have even reported
E-Tanks spawning in boss rooms.
Roahm, can't your computer Hibernate? In case of "gotta sleep but can't
turn it off" it's an emergency option you can take. If it can't, you can
look online for a way to enable it.
Did you know that when Vega loses his mask, he will become more powerful,
yet takes more damage? Also, if he loses his claw, his damage will drop. It
was like that in SF4 at least.
I just noticed something this video...if you go into the menu it says "hit
F4 to toggle window size"...perhaps that way you can get access to other
things, maybe even pause it
Grr...I NEVER knew about the health drop in the endurance room! I thought
you had to do them all with no recovery at all...how aggravating for my
first blind play...
Something I noticed, but Vega does a LOT less damage the more of his
equipment you knock off of him. Not sure if this has already been observed
but there ya go.
You have to hit Rolento with the shield part of the satellite. That's a
problem of course considering that standing near him will cause him to jump
into you
yeah...I know this is late but like you said...an E-Tank spawned in the
boss room of Dhalism for me the 1st time I got to him...but it never did it
anymore
well the E-Tank in Balrogs Stage IS indeed right. You can get it after he
falls off. Enough time to fetch it

video and people who are not in the fighting game scene wouldn't understand
it so you can already consider it as viral. Like "Umehara ga" - only 10K
views but THAT video is viral as hell (under fighting game fans).
Wow, this guy is really talented. I recommend any fans of beat em ups check
out Streets of Rage Remake. Yes, SEGA took action to get it removed from
the original site but, c'mon, it's the internet, you can still find it by
doing a little bit of digging :P
Only critique I have of the game is probably the shade of blue of the sky
background in the game. Very grating and it blends in with Mega Man. I'm
sure it's pretty simple to find a way to alleviate that, I'm liking the how
the game looks so far.
Sonic was flinching throughout the entire interview. Makes me wonder if Zhi
gave him a beat down before the interview started. Great video though guys!
