What I did was replace the free cars with rebels ($3000 each) then just sell them because there is no wait limit.

Couldn't you just get your car impounded by the police and not go and collect it, because if you don't collect it for a while it gets destroyed by the police permanently, even if you have insurance.

The only way that I know that you can fix it is buy or steal another car and put it in its place.
