+sara smyth really!? Well you know the struggle then....this might sound a bit weird but people say I tilt my head to one side buy my doctor says it's because of my longer leg
That was the most disgusting gaming video I have ever seen! I am so
squeamish when it comes to cut and bruises, so just imagine how I react
when it comes to operations. I know it is just a game, which is why I
watched it, and because it was really fun to see Oli's reactions :D However
Rooster Teeth's operation videos are still the best - no hate, thou!
World's Deadliest Snake Bites; Lancehead Viper vs Teen Girl's Leg
We are not doctors. Go talk to a professional for real medical and dermatology advice! Do you think they amputated her leg? I hope it was below the knee.
Why do they say "kind of like this", and then show a gaboon viper biting a
guys boot? Nowhere near the same. Not even the same continent. This annoys
me
+Grant Richardson I was just showing an example of a snake biting a foot. I didn't mean to infer it was the same type of snake. Snake experts would know the difference... most everyone else wouldn't care. lol
+JsDs1020 the video clearly says ''kind of like this'' at no point it says that ''that was a lancehead viper'' kind of miss leading yes but you should figure it out if you thought about it before you wrote that comment

Another Surgery for Roxxy.....???
Video about what happened to Roxxy (the first time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G17PNIkB3lk Roxxy's ACL Surgery Recovery Videos: Day 1 Update: ...
I know this was over a year ago, but did Roxxy ever have surgery on the
second leg? How is she doing a year after everything went down? We suspect
an ACL tear with our 3 yr old boxer and I'm freaked out.
Thanks +Littlethings! Turns out Lola has a partial tear, but we have baby number 3 due in less than 10 weeks and we don't want to take the chance of it completely tearing when we have a newborn. She's scheduled for surgery on Dec. 16th. Fingers crossed that she's on the flip side of that 50% and won't have a problem with that second leg. Congratulations on Roxxy's success and recovery! She's lucky to have such a loving mom. <3
Hello! Yes, Roxxy had ACL surgery on the other leg about 6-8 months later. Our vet told us before the 1st surgery that there was a 50/50 chance the other leg would go out as well. He was right. A year + after the first surgery and then another surgery, Roxxy is doing FANTASTIC!! (knock on wood) She's gotten all her muscle back, plus some. My advice: it will take a lot of love, care & compassion but you will get thru it. Dogs are so resilient, it's astounding. It will be very tough in the beginning, but trust me it gets easier. =0) best of luck to u & ur pup. Feel free to comment or tweet me if u have any questions, need advice or support. =0)
We had it done last Friday. I know, I've been bad with videos this time around. She's doing a lot better with this one though, almost like "ok this again". Lol
Poor Roxy! Our Maddie injured her opposite ACL almost a year to the date of
her first injury. (I may have commented regarding that before or I may have
left that part out.). She was lucky enough to not need surgery either, just
careful maintence as is it healed. She was already a senior by then so
convincing her to take it easy was much simpler. I feel for Ms Rox and you
guys! I can't imagine how I would manage if my boy Pickett
(Pittie/Australian Shepherd) was in her paws. Granted he's only a year and
a half old but that would be so rough for any high energy dog no matter
what their age! Nonetheless, your vet, as always, sounds exemplary and your
girl has already proven how strong she is so I'm certain everything will
turn out great. And if by some chance she has that kind of scary, belated
post op pain again, just keep reminding yourself that all of those
nerves/muscles/etc are inflamed as well as trying to heal and that your
already-proven-to-be-awesome vet CAN and WILL help you manage her
discomfort. Honestly though, I'm betting that she won't have an episode
even close to the post op one she had last time if she even has one at all.
Lots of good thoughts and prayers for all of you! She's going to do AWESOME
because duh she is THE Rox-star.
OMG LOL I literally LOL-ED and made my husband read ur comment when I got to "duh bc she's the Rox-star" & also "in her paws"! Rox-star is what we always call her lol ty SO MUCH for ur support. It means A LOT. Roxxy is doing OK, she came home this morning. She seems to be handling this a lot better than last time, she's pretty much normal (only laying around tho of course). Paws crossed this recovery is smooth. :0) how much does ur pup who had the ACL issues weigh? My vet told me dogs under 40 lbs they will NOT do ACL surgery on because most of the time they heal themselves. Roxxy is 70 lbs so they said she needed it. I definitely trust them. They've never steered us wrong & take great care of our pups. Again TY so much for the support. Rox-star send wags & kisses u & ur pups way!
