+B Silver No, I watched it again, and he cut it at the fibrous tissue part, getting the last bit of sac.  Of course, if they make another video we'll know it wasn't all gone!  Lol. 

I don't thin he got the entire sac; pretty sure there was another piece in there requiring digging out.

If you watch til the end you see him remove the sac.  That should not have come back.

Besides cleaning the would your hamster would also need antibiotics like baytril oral to combat infection.Now you can brew up some thyme tea. Using fresh thyme is better than dried you can find in the spice section of any grocery store. But if all you have is dried kind or ground thyme use it instead. Take 5-10 sprigs of the thyme and place in a mug pour boiling water into it and let it steep for 30 minutes. Once the tea has cooled, wipe the area with it. Thyme is a natural antiseptic and antibiotic.Where did i learn this from? HamsterHideout.com/forum
