+Christine Tortorice (llamas314) I was not able to see this comment until later as we had our big celebration of National Coming Out Day yesterday and I was very busy. I hope you found the words to express your true self, and that your parents accepted what you had to say with love. Since I can't help you prior to telling them, I can give you advice for After the fact. It is important for you to continue to be the same person you were prior to telling them. Don't walk on eggs around them, but let them see that you are the same child they always knew, but now they know more about you, and they can fully be apart of their life in honesty. The fact that you felt compelled to share your truth with them will be or can be a plus in your relationship. Also, give them a chance to grow along with you and all will be well. I hope things went well, and I'm glad you took this brave step.

Do you have any idea how silly you look? Marriage is for the purpose of having children, and two girls cannot make a child. Hihacking the word and making a mockery of this sacred institution, and pretending that you are doing so for "God's sake", indicates a psychological aberration. I'm sure you are all very nice people, though.
