i did read abt it. but i am not sure abt the question someone else asked
saying it gave you running, might they meant glycerin. This ling oil
(vegetable or usp glyernic) doesn't matter...can dentiely give you running
. But I heard Neem can kill or hurt woman hormone , I think it means
preventing man sperm from getting in womb. But I am sure it says something
about not let you have baby. So stay away from it. It also is fatal that
make a person having ill to death.
The babies eyes develop far before labor starts. Castor oil only effects
the GI tract. The only ill effects would be loose bowels for the mother and
possibly the baby. It has nothing to do with ocular development. Generally
some doctors advise against using it because they dont want to have to deal
with the mess if there is any. But if it works use it. Doctors and nurses
are there to cater to the patients. They arent feeling the labor pains.
@LilBabiBrooklyn I am 37 weeks, with my 3rd.....but the baby has been down
and ready to come out since 32 weeks so I had to take it easy till 36 weeks
as told by my dr. I have been having a lot of braxton hicks and pressure
and this baby is measuring big so thought I would try this. So far I wasn't
sick at all but woke up with very light contractions. congrats on your
daughter =] This will be my 3rd girl lol
@LilBabiBrooklyn Yeah but every woman is different and the side effects are
not always the same for every one so I am happy it worked for you cause I
wanted to try it so bad but I'm so close to my due date and I know I will
go past my date but as long as my baby boy is born healthy that's all I
care about...I'm 39 weeks tomorrow & still not dilated with very few small
contractions once in awhile.
I just took two tablespoons also about an hr and a half ago. I am 40 weeks
today, hoping to get the same results. Starting to get a headache. Washed
it down with Dr. Pepper. My induction is scheduled for next
Thrusday...hoping this works....ughhh Wish me luck. :-)
ugh.. i feel nauseous just watching you take that.. i am 38 weeks pregnant
and looking up different ways to induce labor. i just had a membrane sweep
done yesterday but it doesnt seem to be working... and i dont think i have
the stomach to do castor oil. lol. ick
The percentage of women having bowl movements when giving birth is in the
86-90 percent, just saying. I'm not worried, if it happens, it happens. The
doctors are use to it and they clean it up immediately anyways; most women
don't even realize they have one.
@taramaher I didnt go to the bathroom at all. 2hrs after taking the oil i
went into full labor with contractions every 5 mins and then 2 mins apart.
My daughter was born 9hrs after making this video. I hope it works for
you!!! How many weeks are you?
Baby # 5 38 weeks so ready to pop had membranes stripped last Tuesday still
just contracting ugh! 3 cm 50% my oldest daughter turns 16 tomorrow an I
have Dr appointment so ill wait until Friday and take castor oil if nothing
by then.
@sexiibiitchyall well I read about that b4 I actually took it but i didn't
experience any of that. All it did was make me have contractions within
2hrs of my dose. I would totally do it again if needed.
The worst that can happen is your baby going to the bathroom inside you.
Some ppl experience that and some don't. I didnt go through that. She was
born 6hrs later just fine.
I'm 38 weeks & took castor oil yesterday it made me have contractions but
they stopped & i have bad diarrhea now! & i'm piss because i still not in
labor after all that!
i drank castor oil when i was 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i started
having contractions a 3 in the morning and my baby was born at 3:40 in the
after noon
iam 38 weeks and my baby do not have any more room i was wondering is the
castor oil safe
40 Weeks 4 Days Pregnant | Castor Oil Induction?
Natural induction method? Ask your doctor or midwife first! Will it work for me? Remember that quick updates if I'm unable to update on YouTube will be posted ...
+Boricua DePorVida The castor oil did not induce labor. It didn't cause any complications either. The hospital induction started on the 24th at 41 weeks 6 days did not progress well so I had the baby via c-section on the 27th (12 days after filming this video).
I've had two posterior babies it suckkkkkksss
. Goodluck, hope it happens soon for you-either way, you're on the
homestretch, wont be long :-) (will just feel like it!)
+22ANewBeginning47 I hope he does too! just kick down to the exit baby! put that mobility to good use :-D Hope its not too long for you (hope that you might already be in labour even, I must join your FB page :-D)
He still flips around to anterior occasionally, especially when I'm having more intense contractions. Consequence of the extra fluid I suppose. He's very mobile! I have hope that he will flip around to anterior when labor comes.
In order to take Castor Oil in a comfortable manner it is the best to give
the recommended dose for aduls (2 oz) together with tomato juice in a
blender. So you will not have any problems in swallowing the emulsion,
Did it work? Please, ask your doctor or midwife before using castor oil to naturally induce labor. Remember that quick updates if I'm unable to update on ...
Why not just wait for the baby to be ready I'm 40 weeks 3 days and I don't
feel like I have to rush the baby out because nothing works if the baby is
not ready I have sex I take baths i walk and guess what it doesn't work
just wait
Lol you knowingly clicked on this video knowing she would be saying she took castor oil! So you went out of your way to leave a rude comment come on, pregnant ladies need to come together not bring each down! I just took one tablespoon about a half hour ago and washed it down with sunny d, I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and if it works GREAT if not GREAT I'm just doing anything I can to move this process along lol! Love you girl and all the information in this video was spot on!
+maria mendivil Why are you being condescending? Did you actually watch the video? There are many things that can be done to induce labor, and NONE of them will work if baby isn't ready. The same is true for a medical induction in the hospital. If baby isn't ready, it won't work. Do you think doctors are dumb for inducing labor in a hospital?
And yet you're searching for castor oil videos? I state in my video that it only works if baby is ready. I was induced at 41 weeks 6 days, I wasn't in a rush. I waited as long as I could before induction.
Heyy! Look at you, you look glowing :) ive just had my bfp 19 months of
trying on Mother's Day (sorry can't remember if uve seen it) good luck with
ur labour lots of love xxxx
+Kristina Pratt That's definitely on the to-do list for tomorrow's appointment. I didn't bother having my cervix looked at when I was 40 weeks. I have my 41 week prenatal appointment tomorrow. My cervix is still so posterior that it probably won't be possible, but I'm going to ask anyway.
Darn I was really hoping for March 16th. Oh well he is not ready yet like
you said. I am going to say a Spring Baby March 20th. and for get what
people say you know what your doing they only see about 6 minutes of you
life!
You're awesome :) If he's March 20th he'll still technically be a Pisces even if he's on the cusp, so my dad will like that haha. It is a new moon that day, like I said on Facebook. Not one to be superstitious, but a new moon, spring equinox birthday seems to be quite auspicious!
I know how you feel my 1st baby I was 42+2 ended in induction and 2nd baby
I was 41+3 also ended in induction my babies take a while to get in my
uterus they just don't wanna come out no matter what I tried ha ha! I'm 27w
with number 3 and hoping I don't go past my due date this time.
I know ppl are trying to be nice but it's a pain when your past your due
date.
Omg are you still pregnant! That one used to piss me off too! Still hoping
your little guy makes and appearance today and Goodluck with your bpp :)
+8NAT3 We spend so much time praying for sticky babies that sometimes we forget to be careful what we wish for hahaha. I'm really shocked that I haven't been pissed off by comments asking whether I'm still pregnant. you'd think that would set me off, right? I think it's because I like the look I get when people ask me when my due date is and I reply "last week!" SHOCK and AWE
40 weeks pregnant drinking castor oil to inuce labor
I wanted to start labor... and tried drinking castor oil. It was so gross... and my mom got it on video... took me quite a long time to work up the nerve to drink the ...
Why do people keep saying 'the baby will come when it's ready'... They
don't come when they are ready, they come when YOUR body is ready and a lot
of the time your body isn't ready and never will be. This is my third
pregnancy and I have had enough and trying everything to go into labour but
as with my other two I will end up medically induced AGAIN. My son was born
at 43+2 weeks with Muconium in the waters. All cos I listened to
bullshitters saying "he'll come when he is ready". BULLSHIT!
It didnt work at all for me. Cleaned out my system thats for sure. I
wouldnt reccomend it. My son ended up being born two weeks late! Im
convinced that these babies come when they are good and ready, no matter
how ready we may be!! Thanks for all the comments.. If you want to see what
my son looks like type in - takeo laughing at Grover.. its pretty cute.
i am 40 weeks 3 days! i put castor in a class and opened a fresh can of
coke filled it half way and put in 2 tablespoons of castor oil! I took a
straw and while i was drinking it I was stirring it really fast! it make a
lot of fuuzz and I couldn't even tell there was any in there! the oj was
disgusting and to oil! this is what worked for me
Oh my, i drank 2 table spoons a day before my due date and less than a half
hour i started trowing up and pooing my pants at the same time! My
contractions also started but i ended up in labour for 25 hours! My second
child came on due date and with in 2 hours 4 pushes he was out! Do it
natural peeps
why hasn't anybody thought to season the castor oil with garlic & salt
(like you would olive oil) and eat a lovely french baguette for dinner
instead of drinking if it's so nasty? that is what I will do next week if
necessary. you can easily get 2+ tblspoons down that way. Or maybe I'm
wrong.
I love this video I would act just like this if I had to drink castor oil.
I'm 34 weeks now and I'm hoping I won't have to do this. Every time she put
the glass to her mouth I screamed and laughed. Nice video :-)
auslish...it's not dangerous for the baby. The doctor recommended it to
avoid induction with IV, so the doctor usually recommend castor oil. my
doctor also recommend for me, but i chose to wait.
This pregnant woman should better give the recommended dose Castor Oil for
adults (2 oz) together with tomato juice in a blender before drinking the
emulsion.
I drunk castor oil and went for about 6 walks, cleaned me out and brought
my beautiful baby girl here in 3 hours. Has worked for 2 other people I
know too
At 38 weeks I took 2 teaspoons at 10:15 pm n went to bed woke up had to
cookie around 2am n had contractions until 4am nothing happened I'm 39
weeks now n I jus took 2 teaspoons again n hope sum thing happens I'm tired
of being pregnantt
wow I'm trying did u get the runs .. I'm scared lol I'm 39 weeks and I'm
dialated to 1cm I have been having contractions and I have had the castor
oil sitting their for 3 days now lol
It WORKED!! I went into labor at 3:00am and had her at 9:14am with only
three pushes fastest labor ever I'm blessed!!
The Day We Tried Castor Oil Induction
For background info: I was not trying to induce because I was done with being pregnant. I was showing signs of preeclampsia which can be fatal for both mother ...
Well for one there are always extenuating circumstances & until you
personally go through some of those circumstances you can't be so
judgmental. During the time that we were trying this induction I had
borderline pre-eclampsia, which can be life threatening for both mother and
child & can only be resolved by delivery. As I was striving for the most
natural birth possible this was one the options available to try to induce
a natural birth. This was NOT because I wanted to be done with pregnancy.
i almost didn't approve your comment because of the foul language, but then
i thought we need to educate you a smidge about castor oil. no it is not
poisonous, you are right on that point. it can however cause fetal
distress, and if not handled appropriately will cause the death of the
unborn child. i am doubting that you are a medical professional who knows
everything about all things, including sara's would be uncle's death, so
please refrain from being so petulant and rude in future.
Yes, exactly. If your body isn't already trying to go into labor, don't
take it. I would say, however, that the risks compared to the risks of
taking petocin are definitely not as bad (I had to have a c-section with my
4 year old because the petocin dropped his heart rate so low his life was
in danger - thank God it turned out okay (he's alive and well) outside of
the c-section and trama to my ability to breastfeed). Nothing beats letting
your body do it's own thing and trusting God.
This was done with the supervision of certified nurses and midwives. It was
not done willy nilly and was done to try and provide me with a chance at a
natural birth. I never would have taken the oil without supervision or
advice of a medical professional who was familiar with my medical history
and situation. I guess you missed the part showing the birth center we were
in.
my midwife said black and blue coshosh can cause severe bleeding
afterwards...how can castor oil i make the baby pass meconium ??the baby is
in a seperate area...all it does it cause the stomach to contract which is
next to the womb having a irritable affect on the womb which MAY cause
contractions...as long as the lady keeps well hydrated whats the harm
Wow.. castor oil would not kill an unborn baby. There was obviously an
assortment of circumstances in which your grandmothers baby wasn't faring
well and wasn't healthy for whatever reason.. Babies don't just straight up
die because the mother eats/drinks something unless its fucking poisonous,
which castor oil is NOT. Holy.
the process of being induce at the hospital sucks, and the longer you go
the bigger your baby. and bigger the baby the the bigger the chance of
having a c-section. Baby runs out of room and lays on causes a numerous of
things. Like unable to walk. There are millions of reasons. I wouldn't
suggest cast oil,
from everything that i have looked at now, castor oil only works if your
body is already trying to go into labor. there is so much risk involved
with taking it, that i didn't know at the time, that i would never do it
again. i'm glad everything was ok with you and your baby though:)
I had castor oil at 41 weeks, 6 days and it put me in labor within 6 hours.
It worked - but gave me diarrhea during my labor which was gross lmao. I
would recommend it as a last, last, LAST resort, after you've tried
everything else. It absolutely works though.
It's not the motor oil, ha ha that's what my husband said too. You take it
when you're constipated but when you're pregnant you take more of it to
cause explosive diarrhea. When the rectum spasms, it encouraged the uterus
to do the same, causing contractions.
to each his own, but it can be deadly for the baby and should only be done
with proper monitoring of the baby. And it really only works when the
mother is already favorable for starting labor, so she might as well wait
for her body to go on its own.
I tried Castor oil at the end of my pregnancy after a cervical sweep. I
can't stay pregnant full term due to an antibody that I've created that's
rare and will attack the baby. I try to force labor "naturally" before they
do Pitocin.
Using castor oil is a horrible idea. It can make the baby go #2 in the
womb. If she/he breathes it in, it will cause a horrible infection. But I
think if your doctor suggested you do it, it's good that it was done under
supervision.
@OhDangLetsBang01 I was comparing it to a foley bulb. It's where an balloon
catheter is inserted into the cervix and then expanded to 4cm to try to
induce labor. It didn't work for me, that was why we tried castor oil.
When my mum was pregnant with me (16 years ago - No i'm not preg b4 all of
you assume it ¬.¬) She used Caster Oil cuz she was sick of carrying me (I
was 2 days late). LOL. I was born 2 hours later on the 14th March!
not trying to be judgmental but your doctor would whats best in that
situation best thing to do is not take it because it could cause too many
contractions causing harm to the baby. always ask before taking anything
That is a very beautiful place, where I will be giving birth is a smaller
room and still nice but its on the 4th floor of a big building. Anyways I
am 40 weeks today and drank castor oil 2 hours ago and nothing yet.
My grandmother took castor oil with her last baby which was her only son
and it killed him but that was in 67 and they didn't know all the dangers i
am glad everything went ok for you
Castor oil worked for me with my daughter but it gave me the runs witch was
kinda good by the time it was time to push at least I had an empty stomach
lol. But that oil is gross.
I'm 38 weeks & took castor oil yesterday it made me have contractions but
they stopped but now I have bad diarrhea ! & i'm piss because I'm still not
in labor after all that!
oh gosh!! be so careful. castor oil can cause fetal distress so it should
be used with caution and observation. good luck though! i hope you have a
beautiful labor :)
Castor oil did not work to induce my labor! 39 week BELLY SHOT! Medication for pregnancy!
The castor oil experiment did not work! Just gave me alot of cramps and no sleep! use and your own discretion. And please consult your doctor before doing so.
38 week doc visit and castor oil results! (No baby yet.)
and when you in labor the first is braxton then constipation then more
braxton...then loose bowls labor and gas..then thats when you know baby is
coming
