Absolute best is to run an HDMI from your PC to your computer if they are
near each other. So I resisted Chromecast for so long. But if my wife is
hogging the computer, I can at least throw YouTube videos on the Chromecast
(1st gen). So it is good for that.
For your racing game, must it explicitly support Chromecast, or is that
just casting your screen?
HDMI out from PC to TV is really the best solution, and what all these devices are trying to measure up to. PC gaming, in my recliner, Xbox 360 gamepad, Skyrim on the 55". Or Netflix (or ShowBox), not a problem. Browsing? I need to zoom a little, but my Logitech K400 has my back.
