Lol. You are funny comicbookgirl19. Watched The Babadook and The Guest.
Both were good but really liked The Guest and the soundtrack. You pick good
movies. I watched The Drop the other night. It was also pretty good. Check
it out.
19, are you excited for Jessica Jones? Jane from Breaking Bad (HAIL
HEISENBERG!) looks fuck'n legit in the role even tho she's a bit miscast
for Jessica.
Side note, David Tennant is God so he'll kill it as The Little Man.

We are keeping it simple so I don't have to plan much for just the two of us. Just pick a location and be spontaneous. We plan to renewal our vows each so family and friends can attend later on. It's expensive to try to fly everyone and the stress to make everyone happy is different from what we wanted for our day. We just want it to be us and focus on our love so going to elope this summer :) Thanks for asking!
Yea, it would void when changing the original ram and hard drive but I figure if I ever drop my laptop, I could just switch back to the stock ram cards and hard drive back in to get it fixed by apple for any repairs. Apple care down cover upgrades so you still have to pay 2 to 3 times the amount for more ram and a SSD through them. It's up to you if you feel okay with it.
They should have just waited for George R.R. Martin or made the show more
detailed and getting everything that was in the book on screen so series
would have more of a same pace as the books. The show just feels flat and
dull now and doesn't have the same magic, and the way they kill off
characters just feels like a cheap move since they run out of ideas instead
of shocking and surprising as they was in the other seasons.
+elguitarTom Agreed. There were some truly amazing theatrical scenes, fight sequences, and set designs. Mind blowing good stuff for sure, but they seemed to focused on pushing the plot forward to resolve the season where it ultimately ended. On the way they dropped a lot of storylines and space for character/world development. You get less of the little world building moments like soldiers walking through the woods singing "Maiden and the Bear", watching the dire wolves get bigger, exploring warging (Jon and Arya's ability), etc...The pace of the plot just pushed us one scene to the next and the characters, except for Cersei, felt far less nuanced this season. It makes for a cheap thrill when watching but compromises the quality of the entire series.
+harry vrentas I like Borat and i like cbg19. The fact that i dont like using bad words in public doesnt mean that i dont use them when im with my friends and it definetly doesnt mean that im prude.. Not even close man. Dont confuse manners with "prudity". This content doesnt have a mature rating and kid can listen to her language. That said, it also doesnt mean that kids dont know or hear them words. But hopefully you get my point...
We need Dany to start riding Drogon, giving no shits, burning the Dothraki
she swore oaths against after Drogo died and his Khalissar was splintered,
lets tie some ends up, we deserve a whole lot of onscreen revenge, we got
no Stoneheart, no Crowseye/Victarion, how could they stop following the
Ironborn? Theon is not the Ironborn, the story does not end with him, they
showed Pyke in the other seasons, hopefully it'll be next season but I dont
know.
On reddit they cast him as the guy in casino royale with the bleeding eye, shit would be perfect for him, they can find a victarion, I guess they dont want to have Stannis's character up against anyone else directly right now, I cant see why they would leave the ironborn this season, hopefully we get some kind of wrap up with Baelon dying, Asha getting captured in Deepwood Motte and some basic Euron.

+deamondeathstone1 He's better than the 30 year old man child that Peter has become.Hopefully Slott can turn it around with super rich CEO Peter because his post-Superior run on Amazing was mediocre.
+kyubiultima5 By the time he does come back (which looks to be years from now at this point), the staus quo will have changed so much that I would not be surprised if the Xavier School comes back.
I'm always getting into catfights on the internets with idiots who glorify
the Hugh Jackman version. and it's usually with boys!!!!!!!!! You'd think
that because I'm a girl I'd be all into him, right? wrong. I'm a
"Madripoor" Wolverine girl. Hell, my first comic book ever was Wolverine
#1, Sword Quest. I was like "holly shit who is this guy? he doesn't seem
to be using stupid super hero powers.. he just has a shitload of blades
coming out his knuckles, what's going on here! Who are these pile of losers
he's standing on? I have to read this!" Mind you, I never cared about super
heroes before that, so for me to buy a comic book was like a personal
cosmic event. I was on vacation in Florida, it was an old tattered copy
they had in a small-town convenience store in the back of a bunch of other
old comic books, all that it was missing was mold, but I didn't care!!!!
+Tulip Star First time I saw Wolverine was in Daredevil, (checks google), issue 196. A beat up cover which I still got. I was hooked on the guy, and started reading Marvel Comics Presents titles. I didn't have a local comic shop, got what I could find. Then my grocery store started selling by request. Finally a Wolverine issue 20, and so started my collection. When I started driving, finally got to a comic shop and filled in 1-19 and got into so many other comics and series. Like Deadpool. No no no. Not current Deadpool, old school New Mutants and two mini-series Deadpool. I could ramble on, but you shared your first Wolvie story. Wanted to share mine.
I like that the film is unique but I still can't fully understand it, if
the babadook is her bad shadow why is she feeding it like it's a physical
being at the end?
+Rambregaz Symbolism bro in real life she wouldn't actually be feeding it, she's just coping with it and acknowledging that it's there instead of supressing it.
I think you nailed it on the babadook ending
[spoiler below]
She clearly is haunted by her grief, perhaps blaming herself, and later her
son for the death of her husband. This is a physical manifestation of
"confronting your demons," and hers nearly takes complete control over her,
before she takes control over them.
Furthermore, there's a lot of great allegory about the transition into motherhood and how it's not always puppies and butterflies. In her story, she has literally left behind her previous life with her husband (who she clearly loved and misses dearly), to her new life with a very problematic child exacerbated by being a single mother.I loved the idea of the Babadook manifesting itself in several stages:You have to let it in (some psychological trigger for anxiety, rage, etc.)You will deny itIt will grow until the point that you must acknowledge itBy this time, it's a monster, and that monster is you (i.e. "Underneath", "true form" = self)
I've heard a lot of people not like The Babadook because it wasn't
horrifyingly scary (although they do say Conjuring was, so it makes me
question other things), and it's odd for a horror movie. The reason for
this though is because IT IS NOT A HORROR. It delves into horror and
thriller, but it's always a very unconventional Drama. That's probably why
they don't get the ending either
+Suutari4 Yeah I was the same, but I realised it was a very dark drama film about halfway. It has a sense of depression, isolation and vulnerability throughout the whole film which just psychologically wrecks you, I think that's where the fear comes from
+Ripped Dave Cabin in the woods was awesome. It wasn't suppose to be a scary horror movie, it was making fun of other horror movies while also being a good legit movie in itself.
I watched "Nightcrawler" having no idea what it was about (except the
title, but that told me nothing). I loved the movie, it was just awesome...
I think I enjoyed it more than if I had watched the trailers. Gonna start
watching recomended movies without knowing what they're about. =D
Persona 4 did not come up with up with this stuff, as I'm sure you already know. The whole Persona series is based on Jungian psychology which deals with the whole "personas" and "shadows" thing, as was Babadook was inspired by it, most likely.
