you ever heard of Serena Williams? Watch her at the 2011 US open SF against Clijsters a decade after 9/11 playing in her home country, cussing out a foreign lines person after she says she is playing for the survivors. Uses the word Fuck more then a southern trucker. Talk about shit attitude. And she did an encore of her unsportsmanlike behavior last year at the US Open final. Losing BOTH! Serena is one of the best and one of the WORST!

Eventhough she didnt win wimbly doesnt mean she wasnt good on the grass. Because she did win multiple tittles on the grass + she was the finalist at wimbly 2wice. She did have a great game for grass court tennis. If peaple dont agree than watch 2006 wimbly final and 2007 eastbourne final. There are many more matches but i wont mention those since henin haters would go bonkers after watching her classy display on the court.

She won Eastbourne?! Oh my gosh, then you're right! She's among the greats on grass...wtf ever. There aren't MANY more great Henin grass court matches... you would've cited them. . Henin and classy don't belong in the same sentence, paragraph, page, book, or library. She was and is a tacky, self-centered cheater. I never liked Capriati much, but I rooted for her like she was my favorite player that day.

Back to some REAL tennis? are you kidding? henin's game was one of the greatest to watch ever. talk to any of the greatests BJK, Martina N. and they will agree Serena and Henin were the best of that era. I disagree. Henin was both best player and best year in 2003. You cant be the best if you dont play, and Henin went 2-1 vs Serena this year in addition to both winning 2 slams. Serena was not a lock to win the Open if she played. She wouldnt win another U.S Open until 2008, healthy lost all 3 2004 slams she played, and she wouldnt play a prime Henin on hard courts until 2007.

I've always liked Justine's style of play, because she had SO much finesse. Jennifer was clearly a hardcourt player and I liked her on hardcourts because of her power but she never had a solid winning shot, kinda like Wozniacki but times three. LOL. This match was just a showing of how great Henin was and how good Capriati was.

Capriati influenced the judge with her overacting and she wasn't even right. That's bad sportmanship, she knew those balls were in and she knew Henin was playing much better, so she started to pull some nasty tricks to get Henin out of her rythm.

@MattyOyola21 Dull!?! You are joking, right? If you knew anything about Safin you would know he isn't a jerk and is extremely well respected within the tennis community, including his fellow players. It was more of a relief for him to win his 2nd slam after years of struggling with injuries and inconsistency, and all that hard work paying off, plus he respects Federer and Hewitt a lot. In the final he was playing a home town, home grown player. He didn't want to disrespect Hewitt or the fans.

Contrary to popular belief, Safin isn't just about muscling every shot. In fact, he is like the bigger, stronger, more powerful, and dare I say...more faster version of Nalbandian. Both have that beautiful two handed backhand which they can do so much with, hit it down the line, create angles cross court, or hit topspin lobs and off pace shots. Safin doesn't have the variety of a Federer (nobody in today's game does), but he was very smart, could construct points and knew when to go for it!

@MattyOyola21 Another thing, if you go back a couple of decades and watch some of the Sampras, Wilander, Lendl and Borg matches, you'll see that their reactions to winning matches of any kind were quite similar to what Safin exhibited here. And anyway, Safin is one of the most emotional players. He always brought excitement, whether it was throwing a racquet or playing sublime tennis. He's shown plenty of emotion in winning matches. Just because he didn't here doesn't mean he is 'dull.'

And what should also be noted is how fast Safin was and how fit he was for somebody of his size. He was, if i'm not mistaken, the tallest player (until Del Potro won the 2009 USO) to win a slam, and was also the tallest player to be ranked #1. Back in 2004 when he was coming back from a serious wrist injury, in which he missed the majority of 2003, ESPN tv commentators were saying how fit Safin was, he was running 5 minute miles!! Played a record 30 sets in the AO in 2004!!!

If we're talking about greatest matches overall i think nothing ranks higher than Wimbledon 08 . This match was one of the best in terms of tennis quality ,but the best one for me was Nadal vs Verdasco semi-final 2009 Australian,that match had more jaw dropping points than any other match i have seen, it was absolutly crazy there was about 4 or 5 points in that match that would make a top 10 highlights for an entire year.

Two of the greatest. What a wasted talent Safin was. When he was on, he could beat ANYONE (was it 2000 US Open that he STRAIGHT SETTED PETE SAMPRAS). Federer? The greatest of all time. +thedreadedzero Ken is also present if you play 2-player mode. Also, there are other characters they kept, like Gen, Birdie, Adon and Sagat. Even Mike is a prototype for Balrog.
