Ok, here the situation. I'm a systems engineer (network/UNIX specialty) building a PaaS offering with very limited experience MS SQL Server experience. I get asked about SSAS on a con call, never heard of it. I find this video and 5 minutes later I manage not to sound like a complete ignoramus (we aren't inluding SSAS in the standard Platform). Thanks so much for posting this, and if I need to get smarter on SQL server I check out your training series!

Hi Igor, I don't see reply button to your comment that is why writing here in comments. You have to check if the account used by SQL Server Agent has permission on folder where you are creating log files. Thanks for watching!

Hello, when i'd run the SSIS Package from the desktop application the logging runs ok, but when the SQL Server Agent run it the logging doesn't work, do you know how to fix it?

BJTechNews and ur son..... it was greate and help full, i had ( Error:26). i did all the steps that u did.... i didn't have the option sql server BATECH, but i took sql server (EXPRESS) instead of it, both '''sql server configuration manager and Sevices''. Now everything is working well... Thanx lots

Thanks, I want users to be able to access the report without being promted the password and username, i checked "Credentials stored securely in the report server" and entered the correct username and password, and tested the connection, but when a user attempts to view the report he gets that window prompting credentials, similar to stackoverflow question: //stackoverflow.com/questions/29251489/ssrs-report-running-on-website-keeps-on-asking-for-credentials

mySite.web.co.za is on IISUsing report server ,, sql server2014when i runt it and enter credentials it works, i want to disable thatbut when i go to the mySite.web.co.za server and use its browser to go to:localhost/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fReportName&paraMeter=000the report shows, so when im away from the server, like another PC trying to access the reports it asks for credentials, how can i disable thatwindows server 2012 R2

If you click on Test Connection in the datasource, is it successful?  Its hard to know what the issue is without screen shots.

Yup i noticed that thats my current configuration currently "Use as Windows credential when connecting to the data source" is NOT checked.  , ive been at it since the morning still don't work:(

Make sure "Use as Windows credential when connecting to the data source" is NOT checked.  That was the problem with the guy in stackoverflow.

Make sure you are SQL Server Account for credentials (not windows account).
