Hello, I have recently just gotten this TV it's an LG LED LCD "37LS5600-UC" Is the model number of this TV. Now mine doesn't do that. It goes right out and then back in like when changing the input back and forth between one another. It'll even go as far to say no input sometimes. It will go right out for a short few secs and back in again as if nothing happened. I'm thinking it may be my video cable. Can't be sure until I get another and see if it sill acts up. I'll take video of it and post it. Also going to talk to LG and whoever I can about this see what that's all about. The more we know about these things the better.

+Uduak Asuquo Auto detection for cable signals is pretty common nowadays, computers can do the same on conventional pin audio jacks (sense if the conductor is plugged in and making contact to complete a circuit, I imagine. I would think an IC micro-processor is also assigned to those duties

 Changed main input/output board to correct this issue. NO problem bought one on ebay $79.00 easy fix... tv picture is very clear. No more flashing issue. Any one could do this just make sure it is unplugged. Take back off. Remove wireing harness and screws and install new board......just get the part number off your old board and match it up to a new one you are buying to make sure its the same board. I found this replacement board on ebay and works great. I have now had this tv for 4 years now and still works great no problems..
