Reusable duster pads fitting Swiffer dusters and wet jet.
This is a video tutorial on how to use the reusable duster pads for the swiffer floor cleaner and the swiffer wet jet along with the swiffer hand held duster. This will ...
(BAD--thumbs down!!) SWIFFER WetJet (my review on ceramic tile)
Don't laugh at my attire!! I dress for comfort, ok?? hehe.. Ok...here's my humble review on the Swiffer Wet Jet floor cleaner.. It would be ok on totally FLAT floors ...
Thanks for the review....it sure doesn't look like fun using this, and its
really not hygienic enough for my taste, unless you use 3- 4 pads for one
kitchen floor... I am going to stick to my fun germ-killing Bissel Power
Fresh steam mop.
+Lovebeingnatural1 I notice they have a separate WetJet mop for wood and tile. Can you use the wood mop on tile? I think that's what this lady is doing. The blue mop made for tile has steam, but it doesn't have the fancy anti-bacterial cleaner.
+Lovebeingnatural1 Maybe borrow one and try it out first to see if it's good for YOU... :)
Swiffer Wet jet Review
The Wet jet by Swiffer works great. I like the whole pad idea, and on how much dirt it picks up. Even small spill clean ups are easier rather then a dry mop.
How to Save Money on your Swifter Wet Jet (09.23.13)
I joined Maker Studios & so can you! Click here to see if your channel qualifies for RPM Network/Maker Studios //awe.sm/eGvGC I don't know about you but I ...
I use the ones with velcro and wash the pads. I have several pads and use
one for wash and one for dry. They last years. I only use vinegar to wash
the floors with. You are clever with your cost cuttings. Maybe you could
stick some velcro on your mop and sew some one your wash cloth or buy the
pads that are made with velcro.
Etsy also sells reusable pads. I have a steam mop instead, it just uses
water and reusable pads. I do have one of their dusters but I made some
reusable dusters for it. :) I avoid disposables as much as possible, costs
a lot plus so much waste.
Ever think about getting the rubbermaid mop. Same concept. The bottle is
refillable, so you can use any solution u like. Plus it has cloth pads
washable up to 100 times. I got rid n of my swiffer when I got this it
saves so much money
I have seen those, though it never seemed like you got very many in them. I
think the ones I have seen at the dollar store came in a 4pk for a $1 so
not bad, but I love using rags so I can just re-use them over and over :)
Thanks so much for the handy tip. I want to go buy a swifter wet jet now
lol. I love your channel so much. I look forward to your videos. Many
blessings to you and your hubby.
When they do have the wet (24 pack) and the dry ones for (20 pack) I will
stock up, If Not I bought some microfiber rags at the dollar store and keep
using them over and over.
Thanks for sharing this great tip! The reason I never bought a Swiffer wet
jet is because I knew the refills would be costly. I think I see one of
these in my future now :)
The Rubbermaid Reveal Mop is better and it comes with a Microfiber reusable
cloth & the bottle is empty so you can make your own cleaner using vinegar
or buy cleaner.
the swifter wet jet has velcro on the bottom, which is why it would be easy
to use microfiber cloths o felt, they would stick to it :) But rags work
just as well!
my tap water doesn't get *that* hot. i nuke a bowl of water in the
microwave for 4 minutes then dip the plastic jug in so that all of the
white cap and SOME of the blue jug are submerged - for 10 seconds. then
hold into the jug with a towel to dip it in when it's done nuking and twist
the cap off with one of those rubbery grippy sheets you get to help take
off lids of product. i have premixed solution ready at hand, pour it in,
and recap as quickly as possible. LET IT COOL and then put it into the mop
and you have no leaks, etc. to worry about. others ream out that hole in
the rubbery top on the lid a little with a skewer, then shove the smallest
size funnel end into the hole, and add solution, but i'd be worried about
that getting TOO stretched out over time… i do believe plastic would
withstand the repeated heat up and cool down process more than the rubbery
hole going back to place, but i could be wrong. just a thought. also
wrenching (literally) at the lid may warp or break parts in the lid so that
it won't fit right again. (i tend to do that sort of thing too easily, so….
lol)
