As I remember, there's a fair bit of compression and some light delay from pedals, and also I've got my phaser pedal on, slowish sweep. The amp is just a clean analogue Roland Cube, mid 4, bass and treble 6. Hope that helps!?

good lesson, im glad someone finally got round to doing this as i never had time, i did an acoustic version in 2007 but never broke it down. As you've clearly got more time on your hands than me break down the solo for everyone :) And use a capo so its the same as the original :)

@ 00:46 ... marty dont pretend you didnt know we weren't watching you ;) jks jks... just wanna say if you're struggling with the strum pattern try playing with him at the start of the vid just by listening and not actually playing the chords.. just strum along... literally took 5 mins to pick it up and i'm a novice at playing guitar... hope it helps :) keep up the good work buddy, really enjoy your vids.. :)

you might pause the video to take a look at the strumming ... or just jamm around to find out what the strumming feels like....you have to feel it! dont spend to much time on reading the letters... i think it commes naturally if you just try it for me its not that difficult, but maybe its because i have played drums when i was a kid any way thanks a lot marty go on the others :D

just go really slowly with the up and downs that it says to use and then you kinda just have to speed and the rhythym will come with practise

strengthen your pinky, you may not be pushing down hard enough. Sometimes its the guitar, and you need to adjust your gauge.
