I just bought this camera, but instead of recording mts files it records
bdm files, which my program (Avid) is not able to open, do you know if this
can be fixed?
+nature1upclose Hi, the bdm file shouldn't be video files, those are part of the structure of the folders or maybe the system recording. By the way you should look for the stream folder and inside of it are the mts video file you just shooted. This should be if you record in AVCHD. When you record in mp4 there should be different folder other than stream, maybe mpeg folder but I don't remember now. Hope this help.
Hi. I am sorry if i upset you. Nothing bad was directed towards your good self. I have nothing against you at all. I hope you have a happy and healthy life. Once again i am sorry. I get pissed off when sick assholes pick on women and children. Take care.
I have one, the video quality is poor compared to a DSLR, or even a Go Pro 4

Hi. So the system/camera is only on if you select that camera or if that
camera detects motion. At any time you can turn off motion on any or all
cameras. You can also turn off or on notification which may become
overboard if you have motion capturing movement in the house while someone
is home. Hope this helps
The Battery Life is Great! We have been using the Arlo now on two different
houses for several months on the original batteries. Of course, the more
motion you have and the more you record, the less you can stretch the
batteries. Hope this helps
012 Moon Musings - I show my astronomy setup with computer control - also explain Moon Tilting
In daylight I show my Celestron Nexstar 8SE telescope. I show the camera and also lenses. I explain the different sizes of lenses and when to use them.
Now that's what I'm talkin about! Awesome work!I have always wanted to get
'your' results for several years now. I also find myself at a crossroads. I
happened into an Orion Skyview Pro 120mm EQ about three years ago, and I
enjoy the stuffing's out of it still! There are some craters that I want to
look at more closely (no pun) and your results are exactly what I had
envisioned for myself. So if I may be a bother? Is my 120mm refractor ok to
come close to your results is I guess is what I need to know. My scope is
ok for some deep space...but I like yourself am a moon guy just my favorite
heavenly body to view. My most powerful lens is an 8. I never get tired of
looking at it up there in our beautiful New Mexico sky ya know? So I have a
small list of craters that I want to try and survey? document? watch and
record...always record. Form my own database as well...Any assistance would
be greatly appreciated Sir, and thank you for your time and effort to date
with your videos.Simply amazing...well done!Michael.
Dear Mr. Bryson, thak you for this very educational video. I've got this
wonderful scope and I plan to do my first steps in moon astrophotography
and video-making. Though my sky is very bad (I live in a 14 million
megalopolis), the moon is among the few things I can watch even with this
light-polluted eternal twilight that covers us. Have a wonderful day.
Sincerely, Roberto Feliba Buenos Aires, Argentina
Very nice equipment you have there Bill. Also great explanation of how you
manage to get these wonderful images and footage on our screen. Bye the way
.. I'm very happy that you're back again showing us what is really on the
moon. Hope you can show us some more bats ;) Thanks again and please keep
posting. Best regards from Holland.
@dericn Thanks for watching! I know that a lot of people wonder how to do
the video stuff with astronomy so I thought it worth spending some time
showing and telling. I was trying to learn and watched tons of videos on
Youtube but very few showed you really how to put it all together. Again
thanks for your kind comments...
nice video bill keep posting as much as you can. also i would like to say
you should put a clear red piece of plastic over your computer screens. at
night so you dont mess up your night vision. maybe you already do this i
dont know just thought id give it a shot and tell you.
Wow what an impressive setup. A very informative video, very well
explained. Some serious equipment you have there. Thanks for sharing. Thank
you also for the added information on Moon tilting / field rotation, very
well explained.
Tks Bill , now I know a little bit more about this telescope, I will buy
one and have dude about options , but you cleaned my ignorance about this
one. Thank you, nice video very instructive. From California clear skies
friend.
Very nice Bill, and great info for anyone in the astronomy field. Cant wait
to see what you come up with on using your scope lenses with the cam. This
is where I'm having issues. I look forward to your future videos, and posts
Very good video, I even learned something from your video as well. Tell me,
what camera do you have there attached to your scope. I have the same
Nextstar 8Se and i am beginning to try out imaging the moon as well.
Thank you so much for watching my video! I have a passion to promote
Astronomy and hold no secrets. I have done several videos explaining in
detail how I video the moon in Hi Def etc. Thanks for commenting!!!
@Sinjinator Ha ha... Well I may indeed put my ugly duck over my monitor!
Texas has been very hot and most grass in the state is dead because of the
drought and heat. I am glad you are watching my vids!!!
Xbox360hero23 one day I will indeed do Sirius and also some deep space
nebula. It seems right now I am kind of camped out on the moon but I have
moved about before and will do so again...
Hello, why don't you stand your telescope on solid ground instead of creaky
floorboards on the porch? It'd be more stable for clearer pictures with
less vibration.
Nicko thanks for the question! The Celestron Neztar 8SE is around $1000
USD. You can go to Amazon and find it easily in the USA. Thanks for
watching my video!!!
Thanks Bill! I saw your grass is as dead as mine... Hey, those screens are
nice, but you oughta get yourself a critter! To sit on top, maybe an ugly
duck... :)
111nuthead thanks so much for taking the time to comment! And thanks for
watching my video!!!
