+Carl Santos I think your bend tuning is off, have you used a bendtomiter on your guitar before? if the Q ratio is off it will sound totally different due to the string flexing in an oval shape more than a rectangular one. This will cause an off key tone. just kidding, find the note on the guitar that reflects your "bend" note. then practise getting the bending right. ps I suck at guitar

+Nathan Cobian Ibanez isnt overly expensive and the make good guitars, but if you want a hi qual, look for gibson or fender for electrics, and for acoustics, urban and taylor are good brands
Looks like a small fender. I think fender bullet? There is a small, 25 or 50 watt fender solid state I played at my lessons like the one he has. They have great tone. Just dial the gain down a bit so you get some breakup but not distorted. You'll be 1950s for sure. Some slap back delay would also help that rockabilly
+tom anderson Hi Tom, I play both acoustic and electric. On the acoustic, one alternative instead of bending is to quickly slide into the 10th fret on the 3rd string with your ring finger and jump back to the 6th fret on the 2nd string with your index finger. I start my slide around the 8th fret of the 3rd string. You don't actually fret at the 8th - you come down on the string as you're sliding up to the 10th fret. Often called a grace slide. It takes some practice to get it right. Keep in mind what Chuck is doing is approaching the 5th of the scale (the F note in this case) with the bend on the 3rd string and then actually playing the F note at the 6th fret of the 2nd string. It creates a kind of call and response effect.Of course, this alternative doesn't sound exactly the same as playing it on electric with a bend so consider it to be an "unplugged" approach. Still, it's cool to be able to pull it off if you've only got an acoustic around. :-)

+Matthew Edgeworth I learned it on my acoustic and everything sounds good except for the 3rd string bends.they sound off. is that because its an acoustic?
Well done, I liked that you played it slow and then up to speed explaining
along the way how and why you played it the way you did. This a song I
never really got down well but I'll give it more attention now, thanks man.
I like your lesson because you get right down to playing & don't waste my
time blabbering on and on about some nuance that you think you've
discovered. thanks for the simplicity senor!
