Excellent tutorial. Unfortunately pump does not run when jumpered. Reads 0 ohms across 87-30, so either the pump is bad or the harness is shorted. Is there a way to get to the connector to the pump without dropping the tank?

we have 99 denali and it died while we were driving. It wouldnt run. have a good spark and fuel pressure is at 55. Need help

Fuel is there but nothing coming out of the injectors noids are not hot have tested those have replaced the module on the dist. And still nothing any suggestions?

Hi Scanner Danner my number one question is were can I get the schematics that you have besides always going to the dealer thats what I have been doing all these years.I have a 3.4, 03, GM with no fuel getting to the cylinders.I was asked to change this CKP sensor and had CKP code but checked the sensor & got .929 ohms and AC voltage so I had the ITM (control module)checked and it was bad so I thought I had it solved but starts but no fuel to cylinders then I found a PCM (Crank) fues Blown still no start and the fuel injectors and pump fuse are good and I have pressure at the pump on my gauge.I also found a plug underneath the car with a paper clip in it,it looks like plug for oil sensor or coolant sensor not sure yet what that is about and found two wires green and yellow not connected to anything under the car tied up like they had been cut or torn from something.I just have a hard time getting customers to realizing that getting there car electrically and mechanically running sound takes time and labor and they don't have anyone to help them when they buy these cars especially the lady's.So any thought on this?I have not checked yet to see if I have control and signal 12v yet to my injectors and i have found that bulk plug connector just gotta get the car over to me to finish checking it outPLUS I NEED THOSE DRAWINGS can you email thise or provide a source to download them .I also found oil leaks ,coolant leaks and just a crap load of stuff wrong with this car.Thanks your videos are the bomb and I am going to join your 9.99 a month club!! this week!I could always use some more training!

Have 2001 Chev S10..While driving engine and dash lights shut off, then wait a few seconds and the dash lights come on and you can restart. this will also happen while setting at an idle

I'm having a passlock issue on a 96 Olds N Body (First Generation Passlock, so no "relearn" procedure.) So from what I gather here, I can "jumper" out the oil pressure switch (On a relay of course) and bypass the VATS system entirely. All of my research says that the PCM cuts control voltage to the fuel pump relay when it does not like the R Code it gets from the hall effect sensor in the ignition. It should run, but with the security light on? Based on my understanding off how passlock works and my wiring diagram I cant see any reason it would not. Am I correct?

These videos are great. But I do have a specific issue. I have a 91' Buick Park Avenue. I manually checked the codes (check engine light solid) it through multiple codes but the one that really stood out was code 42 (Ignition Bypass Circuit Error). My car will shut off sporadically with a loud click and the engine dies (no chugging). I have replaced the cam sensor, crankshaft pos sensor, ICM, MAF, IAC, and the alternator. Battery tested good and so did the coil pack hot and cold. 

I find it easy to follow and understand Simon Williams instruction. Not every chess master is able to teach as well as they play.

A very pragmatic perspective. It appears that Simon wants you to learn why moves are good and what to be thinking, rather than the more usual GM "here is my expert assessment that won't help you much because you're not good enough to play like this". Only critisism, he could slow down just a little, or lay off the red bull ;)
