Gothic Lolita Make-Up Tutorial!
And this week's video is a tutorial! A quick note -- I accidentally referred to my second eyeliner as being made by Stilla, but it's actually Sephora brand.
Thanks for the tutorial! You look cute even without makeup :3
Also, I have a somewhat unrelated question. Because you're a lifestyle
lolita, I imagine your dresses get a lot of use. Have you noticed a decline
in quality in any of them? And do the brand dresses seem to be in better
shape than, say, a bodyline piece? Thank you!
Thank you! <3And yes, there are sometimes damages like a button popping off or a small stain. The worst problem I have, is certain AatPs pieces have lace with large loops on them, that constantly get snagged on things and break. But yes, my brand pieces definitely hold up better than the offbrand/bodyline ones, especially shoes!
How To: Depot Makeup For Ever HD Foundations to Make Them More Kit Friendly
Hi Bellas, Who's ready for another do-it-yourself video? I've been meaning to upload this for several weeks but better late than never! I was feeling like my kit ...
I need to do this with mine... My MUFE foundations are so annoying... I
also have some la Prarie ones in my kit and the packaging is CRAZY heavy. I
also like the Yaby foundation organizer travel thing with the syringe, I'll
probably pick that up to save space.
i think it depends on your clientele but i carry about 6 shades that i all
use pretty frequently and i do a lot of mixing...i have shades #153 (warm
tan), 177 (deep brown tone) 178 (deep chesnut), 117 (pale cool tone), n155
(medium neutral)
Looks like you used the discontinued 1oz bottles by Mac. Muji is another
great container provider for depotting too (in case someone else is like me
and can't get the Mac 1oz)
Does deporting into the plastic containers shown in the video affect the
formula of the foundation at all? I hate the bottles that the Makeup
Forever HD comes in.
i know that they sell them also at naimes or frends beauty supply online -
try signing up for their pro discount too, it might be easier than the MUFE
one
+Chase Carus Exactly! Most of my brand dresses I got from Sales or got them used (but still were in good shape). I have also bought from bodyline, especially when they are having their Mr. Yan b-day sale, which makes things almost dirt cheap.
Yes there is. I have never paid more than $200 on a Lolita dress, so that is on a budget. I make my own head dresses, shoes I get them from many different places and have not paid more than $45 for them. Since I do mostly classic lolita I get a lot of loliable accessories from antique stores and even thrift stores. All of my blouses except for one I got from the thrift store (and they all look loliable. There are many Lolitas who get their blouses from the thirft store, you just have to keep looking often and be patient). So yes, there is such a thing ^.^
