Hi Guys, I hope you guys had a great X-Mass, I don't know who to address
this issue to, I have been trying to obtain a developers key for the
YouTube Data API v3 and the Analytics API , even going through the youtube
tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im69kzhpR3I&noredirect=1
shows you how to get the key, we all know Google constently updates there
system almost on the daily basis, however after watching the tutorials and
implimenting what's shown, the tutorial needs to be updated, after even
going step by step , still unable to get the key, If you or someone there
can direct me to a
updated version to get the developer key for the YouTube Data API v3 and
the Analytics API , Thank You for your time? And have a Merry-XMass and
Happy New Year
+frisco bay The APIs you referred to are not simple/public APIs (for which a key can be used for access). Instead, they're both authorized APIs, meaning you need a client ID+secret instead of a key. The video you referred to is out-of-date because the console has changed from code.google.com/apis/console to console.developers.google.com and the directions have slightly changed. Watch this video //goo.gl/RbyTFD and the 2 videos after that. Once you get an idea of how to do it, create your own project, enable the YouTube Data API and the YouTube Analytics API, and download your client ID+secret to get access to those APIs.
