+theravenousbeast actually if you look at the proportion of where blaney was through 1 and 2 and where kyle was and consider where they were when hey restarted, kyle really didnt gain that much ground on the launch he mainly maintained the gap by crafton falling like a rock, which may have made it look like kyle got the best restart ever. Granted it was still an excellent launch for kyle nonetheless.

+Noah Anthony Blaney has 11 Cup starts total during the past couple years. Kind of difficult to consider that as a Cup driver. Even then, Blaney is registered to run for Xfinity series points.

No need for GWC's at all in auto racing in general, there was a time where there was a shitload of races ended under yellow. NASCAR made this gimmick rules to make it look like the NFL, MLB and NBA, which have overtime rules. Same with the playoff rule. NASCAR just tries too hard to beat the other sports in their own thing, that they're losing the remains of their original identity.

+Gabriel Macena The cautions didn't finish all the time under yellow back then, because bullshit cautions weren't called out like this instance. However back then when cautions did end the race, drivers had to race to the finish line to declare the winner.

I also don´t understnad why they throw the caution, they did after all cars passed the place where the wreck happened so they at least could let them run back to turn 1 and 2 before making the caution and the old GWC-thing was way better, how can they call it GWC if it is only something like a GC
