How to determine the polarity of the wires? users may end up reversing the polarity if they dont pay mind to this.

The thinner wire of Dell or HP charger should be connected with the centre terminal of 3core terminal connection box where you can see 'Earth' mark.

+Shazal Kamal With 3 core coaxial cable where does the thinner wire (the identification wire or wire 1) go - the flyer instructions are not at all clear on this?

There are clear marks L and N inside the connection box. Also there are some instructions how to determine polarity at the back page of the flyer with comes with the kit.

had to replaced the keyboard, looked difficult but it actually wasn't this guide is awesome on taking out all the main component apart. keyboard lays behind every one of it, after removing the motherboard, move away the red and white cables that are together, and start prying open the metal shield. the glued on clips will pop off about more than 15 clips and 2 screws one on the side and one on bottom under sticky black shielding watch out for tapes attached to it too. easy replace.

you have to pry it open slowly, i started from the front left corner. make sure you have taken out the 2 rear bottom rubber feet to uncover the extra 2 screws and just make your way around it going only one direction. popping sound does make anyone nervous but try using same amount of force on each pry you make. if it helps use a small object to hold the place where its already open while you try to open the next clipping.

i tried to dissasembly mine and was as eay as this looks but when i get to the back part of the laptop it's too hard and won't open i tried really hard to get those parts apart but it seems stuck. No idea wvhat to do or wvhat could be the problem. I got 10 screws out...

what exactly did you do when you lifted the laptop in the beginning. I followed your every steps and removed all screws and parts. But the damn plastic cover won't budge to open.

assuming all screws are out the whole shell should come apart easily, don't force it you might have forgot to unscrew some sort of hidden screw
