Border Security Australia's Frontline - Scam Artist
I am just shocked at some of the methods that these desperate people just use to avoid the system. Whether you're female, male, black ,white.. it doesn't matter.
Talk about an instant addiction to a docu series, lol .... 64 year old Yank
social psychologist here. I was *astounded* by the sophistication of the
forensic technology in use these days. Bing, bam, boom, handcuffs. Ultimate
Kudos also to anyone who works with "The Public" without taking up the
hobby of digging shallow graves by the light of every new moon, lol ...
+Thomas Cervasio Respect........and more understanding on the "invisible child" syndrome than you could imagine, I never thought of it that way but it sums up so much of my childhood and even into my 20's thats it's a perfect analogy. Forgive my sloppy grammar please, I have become tired of having to re-read my texts/emails/comments to find the dreaded built in "spelling auto correct" that i was spending as much time going over them as I would typing them out. It's a shame that the loud, obnoxious and uneducated USAers drown the likes of you out. P.S. I used to have a problem calling you guys american since the America's is all north, south and mid continent , therefore a Mexican would be as much as an "american" as would a Canadien (I spell it the french way since living in Quebec for years) but I may be totally wrong on that........ and with age I'm (struggling) learning to try let little things like that slide as one can only take a stance against so many things before creating your own version of hell, in ones own head. There is a strong reason why I prefer the company of animals to humans for the most part..... and your candid writings on being isolated (in mind and/or body) go a long way into helping explain why. May you find happiness and peace wherever your life path travels to and through !!
+from.way. downtown ... My sincerest thanks for your honest comments. I was advised by my Scottish friend, who was an experienced coach for my proper cultural behaviour, dress, and my travelling companion/personal guide to Egypt, in 2007, to reply that I was Canadian, and not actually American, if ever asked.I already knew why he thusly advised me. The locals on the West Indian island of St. Lucia had, in 1984, actually gleefully first tipped me to the fact that they couldn't believe I was actually American, either-- and for precisely the same reasons you so honestly shared. Too impossibly polite, softly and well-spoken. Those wonderful St. Lucians taught me what I needed to know about Americans Abroad: loud, rude, and arrogant. And they naturally got so much more off their chests. I was ashamed then, and I feel I'll always be ashamed of what they so honestly shared with me. I was so mortified by what they told me, that they had to pull a 180 and try to calm me down, by reassuring me that how those more stereotypically Ugly Americans behaved abroad was anything but my own problem as an individual. But what really got to them was how deeply ashamed I nevertheless was, because any apologies, much less explanations were so dismally less than useless, and therefore beyond even considering.I was then revealed as just as much a victim as they. An extremely sobering Irony, that. What the St. Lucians, and you, have so perceptively intuited is that (and I will be purposefully vague here) at about the age of 6, I began to realise that I'd lost my family, "god" and country in one paradoxically flashing, slow-motion swoop. Ostensibly of course, they were all still there. But I wasn't. So, I did what some other boys throughout Western Civilisation's History also necessarily did when confronted by the hard fact of being surrounded by relentlessly murderous sociopaths: I simply became invisible.A major core concept of that invisibility affect was to be polite, and attentive to other people's natural rights regarding De Facto Respect. And it served me well; I survived. At a price, yes, to be sure ... but survival against such horrific odds always exacts A Price. Yet A Price can always be paid. But The Cost ... ah. The Cost can never be repaid. Sheer survival instinct automatically confers such utilitarianly pragmatic Wisdom.... One can learn much when invisible. Such as The Land of The Free &The Home of The Brave having been founded on the corpses of the 75,000,000 or so Human beings who had to be got rid of under the genocidal double-aegis of Pioneer Spirit and & Manifest Destiny. The religious psychopaths who had been literally hounded out of England for their own insufferable sociopathies had carried much more than that particularly lethal psychological virus to The New World ... more literally physiologically deadly pathogens also travelled with them in their veins. And what devastatingly acute lethal pandemics couldn't kill off, their religions would try their routine damndest to.And since this sociopathic juggernaut hadn't any brakes to begin with-- by wholly calculated design-- America's downhill journey has been made in record time, I should think. Just two short centuries, and we're still not even vaguely aware of what The Inevitably Last Cannibal should be thinking. Psychosocial prion disease syndrome, obviously.i've therefore always been privately proud of not being a part of any of that. And, I guess it shows.PS-- I use UK spelling because it's both correct as far as my B.A. EngLit goes, and doing so REALLY annoyed my more fuckwitted "professors". Being alone most of the time creates the deep need for inventive self-entertainment.
+Thomas Cervasio damn , are you sure you are an american ? You are polite, spelling/ grammar fine and you didn't insult me for merely stating a small fact. Kudos for travelling outside your country with an open mind not believing the world will bow before you like so many I have seen and even worked with (lived with too) , horrible experiences and I wasn't shocked to hear back packers being spat on in trains overseas or some resort to wearing a Canadien flag button on the backpack itself.
Well, my common sense (whatever there is of it:) would agree with you. I've been hooked on All Things Ozzie & Kiwi since re-reading my paperback copy of Robert Hughes' THE FATAL SHORE: The Epic Founding of Austraila until it literally fell apart, some years ago.YouTube has enabled me to see much more of NZ, and I really regret the fact that I'll die without sitting quietly for an afternoon in one of your absolutely preternaturally astounding forests. NZ takes First Place in such things, in my opinion.Neither of these facts can compensate for simply showing up and seeing what there is to see, and experience of both countries for myself as an individual, and professional. I did so in Cairo in 2007; fascinating experience. I was expertly coached as how to dress and behave, and the locals simply couldn't believe I was actually American. Far too polite and calmly measured. I also never haggled a price in my Life; can't stand doing that. But I'll ferret out the best asking price within a 50km radius, lol.Hooked up with some Ozzies for dinner in the Cairo Hilton; their treat. I'd convulsed them earlier in the day when I calmly exploded at one of many gaggles of tightly flocked Japanese tourists who finally crawled up my ass one time too many, and this was in the tight confines of Tut's Tomb. Those Ozzies were there and couldn't stop laughing.Over dinner and enough alcohol consumption to impress them, I got a first-hand appreciation of sorts; we got on famously. Rambunctiously good-natured, down to Earth, suffering no fools lightly. Bonzer mates but lethal enemies, I'd say. My 25% Irish blood never had a better run :)))
+Thomas Cervasio I'm from NZ and lived in Aussie for years, believe me when I say they are not like this (overly polite, very diplomatic) if the cameras are around.
