The stick, it's so IRRITATING!! This is one bizarre (and incredibly aggravating) maze dexterity challenge game by Saurus and Jaleco for the PlayStation in 1998.
Chain reactions, baby!!! About six years ago I'm on YouTube looking for
Seanbaby videos and happen across AVGN who I instantly start to ove, then
recently I watch him review the shitty cover art for this game. Out of
curiousity, I search for this game and end up here, and I liked this review
so much I am now subscribed!!! I figured I better share this story because
it is a gripping, riviting tale of stuff.
If I'd know you would actually see this I can would have put a bit more thought into it! Haha Thanks for the sweet videos man, they will making for great binge watching!
I was using the PS3's backwards compatibility mode for PS1 games, captured via HDMI.
WHAT IS THIS GAME?! - Irritating Stick

Volts isn't what you really have to worry about, current is, the volts are
just far larger of a number and makes it sound more dangerous. The current
is the flow of electrons while volts refers to the potential of the
electricity. A misconception is that electricity will jump to metal first
and foremost, while this is true to a point as it is looking for the path
of least resistance it is only using it as a midway point on its way to a
ground, something with a lack of electrons, such as... well.. the ground. A
good example of this is lightning, it is basically static electricity
powerful enough to create plasma for a brief moment as it leaps between sky
and earth from what has an overabundance of electrons to what has a lack of
electrons.... aaaaaand I just did a lecture about electrical engineering
didn't I?

+thehoosierfortheUK I actually knew what this game was from before, I just never saw it played. AVGN reminded me it existed and that I had never seen it in action so I got curious. I originally read about this in an issue of EGM.It's actually based on a real game show in Japan (which attaches a shock halo to your head and if you touch the sides you get a jolt, as is standard for their kinds of game shows). If I recall there was actually some kind of motion controller sold with this game in Japan that would simulate playing this.
Hey, this is the video creator: DON'T subscribe to this channel! It's
"dead", and I no longer post new content on it! Instead, subscribe to
AzuriteYT, aka the channel that I'm posting this comment from: I post all
of my new content there!
@cenoevil54 Actually that is what I was saying when I was playing
Shatterhand on the NES, and I still didn't give a crap about the Xbox. So
go screw yourself because I hate getting into arguments about crappy game
systems.
@dissident93 raocow mainly, just that i felt i'd be able to entertain with
commentary some since i already had been doing it on my streams for a while
and people also suggested i try out commentary videos
That announcer reminds me of the announcer in those obnouxious Pokemon
cartoons I watched as a kid... He sounds just like him and tells just as
stupid things Great video as always!
DAMN! I remember watching this back in the day where you were only doing
rock band videos (tbh, I liked you before your commentary videos, but you
totally won me with these videos)
fun fact: this game was based off of a japanese carnival game, except you
actually get shocked if you hit the wires sounds like something only a
masochist would try
