@bradymomma we are still here but with mixed blood.... Some of the traditions are still practice whether we acknowledged them or not. We still use some Native words in our everyday Spanish with the misconception that they are Spanish... Tomate, chile, tecolote, huajolote, atole, chocolate etc.... I am sorry but some information here is not accurate. Almost all of prehispanic knowledge that we have to day comes from the twisted minds of friars and soldairs that destroyed this civilization to plunder and enslave the ancient americans. @bradymomma The Aztec (Mexika) and/or Maya people never said anything about the world ending. The calendars just restart. (Just like how our current Gregorian calendar restarts after December) They just assumed that it is the end of the world for some odd reason. P.S. The Aztecs are actually called the "Mexika" (Me-she-ka) and we weren't all slaughtered by the Spaniards.
