This an extremely rare look at eels preying upon other eels. This is a fight to see! This awesome action was captured by our Rec Diving team of scuba divers in ...
Spotted Moray Eel eating a lionfish that our divemaster speared earlier in the dive. He lured him out a few feet so we could watch him devour the lionfish.
No the lionfish are not poisonous, they are venomous. The difference between poison and venom is the method of delivery. Venom must be injected into the bloodstream to cause harm, for example through a sharp spine or fang, but is harmless if drunk or eaten. Poison has to be ingested or absorbed to be harmful; lionfish carry no poison in the edible meat of the fish.
that can't be from a diving master? where the fuck did he qualify as a
diver when he speared an unwary lion fish , regardless if its an foreign
species in florida affecting the ecosystem as some may worry , what about
chinese in america? hispanic in new york?. the diver master has no right to
speared the poor lion fish wounded it to almost dead presenting to as a
food for the eel which don't normally prey on lion fish. what a false
representation of what a diver should do. observe and do not interrupt
while diving!!
Chinese and Hispanic are all still part of the same Species of animal you idiot, we're all the same human beings. Lion Fish are invasive and they damage the ecosystem, there is definite proof of this.
Sea Monster eats dog. Snooki's dog gets eaten by giant eel.
This is considered the best evidence of the Mediterranean Sea Monster eel. Italian couple Snooki Le-spanker and her husband PP Le-spanker are site seeing ...
Oh no, how sad. I'm so upset about this video. It makes me really
depressed. That poor little dog. The owners must be devistated. I showed
this video to my friend that works for adopt-a-pet and she started crying.
Xan you are right, I don't think anyone has ever filmed a woman standing with her dog before! Who would ever do that? That certainly must be proof! Wow you are really a dumb ass Xan R!
FYI: If you believe in this, your mentally retarded. Look closely. If the
lady is holding the leash, wouldn't the obviously "fake" sea monster pull
her in too? Also she would hear the splash before the dog even gets eaten.
There, File Case Completed.
You Got An Achievement! 200G
Believe in something that is fake, like a this dumbass video.
StupidIdiot453 Got An Achievement!
+hipdude33 She is an animal expert, but not an expert in special effect dumbass. Look at how it moves, and besides, she would be holding on to the leash tight, so the fake sea monster would've pulled her in, stupid.
+Zander Z.S.F. ITS NOT FAKE YOU ASS! I showed this video to my friend Sarah who works at Adopt-a-pet, and she started crying and said it is real. She is an animal expert and should know!!!!
+Zander Z.S.F. You 2 dumdums need to "look closely" like how he said. The woman would feel the bridge vibrate on her feet when the (fake) sea monster splashed out of the water. Also, when the (fake) sea monster was out of the water for a while, the water was still splashing around it. Gerhard and hipdude, you two need eyes and common sense.
why would you say such mean things. That poor couple lost their little dog and all you can do is spread hate! You are a pathetic human being, I wish that sea creature would have eaten you instead of the poor little dog!!!!
Eel eating a shark
Our freshwater moray (Gymnothorax tile) does some damage to a shark.
Dude, That eel is incredibly lucky that the "Shark" (Catfish) did not kill
that Eel.
I find this very disturbing the way you sick bastards cheered on the Eel,
then continually poked the "Shark" (Catfish).
+Alex Ayala I googled the same as you and found sites calling them sharks. Guess that's what happens with 500 million web results at once. And a fact new to me, contrary to popular belief, most species referred to as 'sharks' (aquarium species) has nothing to do with appearance, but with the eating style of the fish. The more voracious/uncommon (such as a catfish actively pursuing live prey) the feeding style, the more likely it was to be referred to as a 'shark'. I guess the nickname just stuck. Either way i'm just stating the fact that SOME people call them sharks even if the latter is more popular. Personally i've always preferred the scientific names of fish, I don't use slang terminology.
+Keenan McGinnis I'm specifically talking about pictus catfish. i never mentioned any other species. i searched it up. not a single pic or web shows a pictus named a shark. only iridescent parroons rainbows blacks Colombians etc. and since petco petsmart is a chain pet store, this catfish is also not referred to as a shark. I'm just stating this cuz it sounds interesting how this can be referred to as a shark besides its appearance.
+Alex AyalaSo far, basically EVERY pet store i've been in since my first tank when I was probably 9 have had signs referring to this species as it's formal name as well as 'Shark", freshwater or saltwater depending on the subspecies. And it's not like I was in a bunch of ratchet pet stores. Some were Petco, PetSmart ect., big name stores but personally owned ones as well. And if this isn't enough, all you have to google is "freshwater aquarium shark" and you'll be linked to hundreds of websites not only describing the species as 'sharks' as well as hundreds more online aquarium stores selling multiple species and subspecies of this fish, all referring to them in part as 'sharks'. Just because you haven't heard them called this doesn't mean they aren't in fact, known as 'sharks' by many people
+Keenan McGinnis only people I've seen call these catfish sharks are new people to the hobby. these are not commonly referred to as sharks in any pet stores and definitely not by any professional/experienced hobbyist or marine biologists.
That species of fish if VERY commonly referred to as a 'shark' by those who know a thing or two about indoor aquariums and the respective fish. Just because this guy doesn't have a great white along with a 40 foot eel in his home doesn't mean this video isn't an "eel eating a shark"
+Yêu Nguyễn doesn't matter if it is referred as a shark catfish... it is not a shark. and they are actually not referred as shark catfish. never hav they been. unless u r mistaken them as silver tip catfish.
