What's in Our Camera Bags (Going to Peru!)

Chelsea & Tony are flying to Machu Picchu in Peru. They're each bringing what they think are the perfect camera and lenses for this type of trip, so let's dig into ...

Hey Tony, I'm thinking about getting the Dell XPS 13 laptop because of it's compact size and weight. Do you think it can hold its own in terms of processing power? I use lightroom and photoshop to edit my work on a daily basis. Would it be powerful enough or should I go for the bigger and much more powerfull XPS 15?
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-WmFrDtdmWNs/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/oXHhPl8Mono/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Tony Northrup I own a 24MP Nikon D600, so I guess that'd be fine. So you think the new one with Intel Skylake and the PCIe SSD configuration should be powerful enough?
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UQ-31ER2-Ww/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAACPk/pVxZTKomz_E/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Fouad El-Batrawi I've definitely been considering the new XPS 13 and I think a maxxed-out XPS 13 (be SURE to get the SSD) would be fine. It also depends on the size of your images... my 50 megapixel 5DS-R images are WAY harder on the computer than my old 22 megapixel 5D III pictures.

There is the new Multi Pack that Langly makes would you still go for the Alpha Pro or the new recent one? I really wanted something that didn't look like a camera bag either and have been debating on getting there bags.

+Silent778 I don't know; i haven't tested the Multi Pack. The design certainly seems better! I know I wouldn't purchase the Alpha again.

First off, you two are awesome. I got into the DSLR game about a year ago and have found all your content to be really helpful. I'm planning a trip myself and have just about all my gear squared away. The only piece I'm missing is a solid no-frills camera strap. I'm currently using the stock Canon strap but for a long day, it's not cutting it. What kind did you two use? It looks to be pretty comfortable. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

+Tony Northrup I saw that review and thanks for the info. However, the strap Chelsea attached to her Sony was different from the ones in the camera strap review. Which one did she use if I may ask? It appears Tony used the model strap on his Canon.

+Private Videos We're editing the first season of our travel show, and Peru will be one of 5 or 6 destinations in that first season. It'll be a few months.

Chelsea, how do you like the Sony kit lens with the a7R MkII? Is that lens actually capable of the 42MP camera?
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NUgNEqOaMg8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAFpI/xbvq9gHr-rQ/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Tony Northrup thanks for the reply. Yeah, I use a Canon 17mm F/4 L TS-E with adapter myself for all my landscapes and architectural stuff (on an a7)
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UQ-31ER2-Ww/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAACPk/pVxZTKomz_E/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Ken Cheng No, it sucks. In fact all the Sony zooms pretty much suck compared to similarly priced Canon & Nikon lenses, so we ended up using the Canons with an adapter for almost the entire trip.
