+KevinMillard68 That is one of the Birdie ESC. I can tell by the Manual that I downloaded from that Webpage. They are Very basic and I have issues with them. I have seen them fail at well under the rated Amps.

+KevinMillard68 If you are using either the Turnigy or Aquastar 120 amp ESC you are good. I have tried the Birdie 120 and had it just about burn a boat up. I ran 2050 KV 3660 with 45mm props on 4s with only about 65 amp draw peak on a boat about the same size and weight.

+KevinMillard68 Sure the "5000mah = 5 AH" "5 x 50 = 250 Amps Max Cont. Draw" "5 x 60 = 300 Amps Burst Draw" The 120 amp ESC should be fine with props in the 42 mm P 1.4 Range at 4s. 14.8 Votls x 2075kv = 30710 RPM that is the Sweet Spot for RC Boats is 30000 RPM with No Load you will get about 26000 rpm under load. The ESC Amp Rating is just what it can handle not what it delivers. You can have a motor draw 300 amps thru any ESC it just will burn it up in a few seconds. The Prop Size is the most important thing to start smaller then work up to see what the Hardware Can Handle. The SkyRC Amp meter is great Test Tool. The Temp Prop works great as well.

+FPS-RC thanks i do have a boat question i have and HK genesis and iam going to put in a 120 amp ESC and its Got the Stock 3674 2075kv motor and iam going to go 4s my question is will 2 2s 5000 mah 50c w ith 60c burst batterys be good with this setup

+FPS-RC thanks man but i dont have that kind of money at the moment i have to get my HK genesis back up and running first then i have to mod my deadbolt with some upgrades and get some parts for my summit so iam not going to be in the market for a second boat for awhile it is a reallynice boat tho just out of my reach its not to often i even get 500.00 to spend in one shot on an RC as much as i would like to..

Why did you get rid of it? Did you have a problem with it? I'm looking in to buying one.
