why do we let people with these disorders live? I myself do not think we
should kill these people but it's just a thought, like why should they go
through this kind of struggle...
+Gini Pfender There are plenty of enablers in this world. The problem is that there isn't really a lot of things people can do for those who don't want to get better.
I'm puzzled as to how it progressed from that.I would be eating a lot of meat after something like that to build back muscle.

His voice sounds even better than the previous album. Before when he would
scream it sounded like he really had to try. Now he just sounds like a
fuckin monster without breakin a sweat.
lol you retard slipknot was nu-metal from the first day they started to
this day , if you don't like nu metal then you obviously don't like
slipknot. Stupid new fans.
Easy. Interval pattern for a major scale (Ionian) is tone, tone, semitone,
tone, tone, tone, semitone. The triad this produces (root, third and fifth)
is a major chord, or seventh chord would be maj7. if you start from the
second note of maj scale (second or Dorian mode) the interval pattern is
tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semitone, tone. The triad this produces
is a minor chord, seventh would be min7. So you can play ionian over a maj7
or dorian over a min7. You figure out the other 5.
The diatonic scale has 7 modes... which consists of the major (Ionian) and
minor (Aeolian) modes. I've only heard of people refer to these as modes of
the diatonic scale or sometimes modes of the major scale... I've never
heard anyone say modes of the 'minor' scale, like how he titled this video
'Modes of the Minor Pentatonic' Wouldn't the 5?? modes of the pentatonic
include both major and minor modes? Or is there another set of modes for
the Major pentatonic different from the minor penta?
Yes, minor pentatonic and major pentatonic are part of the same set of
modes. But I think it's better to call them "Modes of minor pentatonic" or
"modes of major pentatonic" rather than "Modes of the pentatonic"...
because there are other pentatonic scales (5 note scales) that aren't a
part of this set of modes. Like the japanese Higurashi scale. Pentatonic is
a general term for all 5 note scales. But "major pentatonic" and "minor
pentatonic" are specific scales. So there's no confusion.
Hello Andrew, I know sometimes you work your ass off to teach us and still
some people complain. I just wanted to thank you privately for everything,
you and mr Marty Schwartz explain everything a person should know about
guitar, you being the freaking master of guitar theory. If someday I'll be
on the scene playing the blues( cause this is what i like), i'll always
remeber what you taught and still teaching me. Cheers. a 16 old kid who
spends all day playing the guitar, Tibi.
I find the easiest way to learn modes of the major scale is looking at the
given mode as this major scale played over that chord. ie: play a C major
scale over a Dm chord but starting on the D note. That would be D
Dorian.(2nd mode) C major scale over an Em chord, starting on the E note,
would be E Phrygian. So the same for each degree of the major scale. C
major..(Ionian) D dorian E phrigian F lydian G mixolydian A aeolian B
locrian hope this helps.
ROBBIE CALVO'S Modal Expose is very simple. While I am no expert in modes I
use them I just don't think about them. Course come with a money back if
you not happy, Robbie went to the same school as Andrew as well, I think
class of 92.
@shredix... In my experience, learning modes from your suggestion of going
from all parallel roots, ("C" in your example), is the most effective way
that they will truly come together for a student. - Andrew
Isn't "minor" just one of the 7 modes of the scale? Seems odd to say 'Modes
of the Minor Pentatonic' instead of just 'Modes of the Pentatonic' which
would include the minor mode. Or am I missing something?
I've watched a few of these lessons. If I understood guitar theory well
enough to understand everything Andrew is talking about, I doubt I would
need to be watching these videos at all.
Thank you for another great lesson which helps me get closer to
understanding this stuff... your explanations and advice seems to be so
well thought out... nice production music too...
ok ok i know, andrew is a great guitar player, an awesome insturtor, and
i'll certainly get thumbs down for this. BUT !!! hell i hate this strat i
dont know why :s
Why not call the modes by their names, e.g. Minor, Major, Suspended (or
Egyptian), Blues Minor (or Man Gong) and Blues Major (or Ritusen or Yo
Scale)?
+Chris Kindler A dream withing a dream within a dream? Seriously? To anyone with even the most rudimentary understanding of the human brain this sounds mind numbingly idiotic. Souh Park was spot on when they made fun out of this movie.
film is subjective but calling Inception 'incredibly stupid' has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on the internet. makes me question your intelligence
This is an Academy Award winning film on which Christopher Nolan spent 10 years writing the screenplay to take a very complex concept and perfect it. You, sir, are wrong.
4 years later I realize this is the best movie in my 24 years of being
alive. Not my favorite movie ever but it's fantastic on all levels. it's a
complex art movie masquerading as a summer blockbuster
