nah, i had magnaflow on before this and havent really noticed a difference. but it sounds so much better now than it did with the magnaflow. i also have a knn intake and a hypertech programmer. i will say i outran a single cab (mines a crew cab) with a flowmaster but i think it was a 6 speed, mines 8 speed
not bad at all suprisingly when pulling a trailer it can get alittle annoying, but if you use tow haul, it isnt as bad because it stays at alittle higher rpms. the drone is worse at lower rpms
You can definitely hear the difference. The tips make it more throaty and
less raspy. Do you still have the factory resonators on?
I don't know if I could do the muffler delete. It sounds great but it must
be loud! I'm thinking about a Mufflex 14" with 16" tips.
I do still have the stock resonators. I have another video that shows more than just a WOT run. It was before the new tips, but the only change with the tips is the throatiness. The link to that video is in the description of this one. It really is not that loud with normal driving. Only when you get on it.
I'm not sure who makes them. I had my local muffler shop place them on. Most every muffler shop will have a set like these in stock. They are 4" rolled tip tips, similar to the stock tips, but they are 18" long.
2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 CC Magnaflow Exhaust
This is a video clip of my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab. Installed is the Magnaflow Dual Exhaust. The Magnaflow Y-Pipe is not welded on yet, horrible ...
Yeah that is correct. Will say, since the MDS is on (semi useless fuel
saver) the gear shifts are laggy. Meaning if MDS was turned off the truck
will stay in 8-cylinder mode
