The 'Dark Bright Spot' in the Iran Nuclear Debate

The military-industrial complex has the US on a leash, and will continue to
lead us around from war to war after war, all in the name of peace and
security. But the truth is Iran has no weapon, we have no evidence they are
trying to make a weapon, and if they did they wouldn't have the means to
deliver it to US soil nor would they likely be irrational enough to do so.
This is madness. We've got to end it.
I seem to remember Iran and Turkey coming to an agreement to enrich all of
Iran's uranium in other countries. What happened to that? Oh that's right,
America shot it down. So much for the U.S. actually wanting to prevent Iran
having nuclear weapons. Also Iran isn't pursuing a nuclear weapons program
and there's no reason to think they are at this point, so I dunno why you
wouldn't believe them.
@AcruxSolus That appears to be a mistranslated. A more accurate reading
would be 'the current Israeli administration needs to be wiped off the
map". And even if they wanted to, they can do that with conventional
weapons anyway. They're not retarded, they know if they launch nukes on
Israel America will bomb the shit out of them (possibly with nukes).
@LibertyDownUnder Very simple, because the oil is usually pay in dollars,
if nation don't agree with that gets invaded like Iraq the first time.
Turning his energy to nuclear with their own enrichment centers makes them
independent of oil so they would export more, having his currency strong.
And of course is not about what they 'don't need'.
@lights779, not exactly the same, but it's an example of the deadly
consequence of being complacent & relying on peace slogans. Ahmadinijad is
calling for the destruction of the west and building up an arsenal. I don't
think that sitting around and waiting for a smoking gun is going to end up
peacefully.
@LibertyDownUnder There is no reason to believe they are making that
weapon. Is not politically correctness, trying to put that part as weakness
is bigotry, is the right of every nation to his own sovereignty, because
respecting others peaceful desitions is part of security and basic society
stability.
The Iranian people don't want their money wasted on this stupid program. Of
course it's for weapons, why else would an oil rich nation even need this??
Go in, shut down the facility, confiscate the sensitive equipment, and get
out. The whole world secretly will thank you, especially the Iranian people.
@floritaka, well I think security is more important than political
correctness in this case. There's no other reasonable explanation for why
they would be developing these weapons. Sitting around like Neville
Chamberlain did in the 1930s didn't work out too well, and it won't work
out now.
Sam Nunn use to be my Senator...He is a good guy & not one to play politics
just tells it like it is. He has done a lot of work reducing nuclear stock
piles around the world as well. Him & then Senator Obama have worked
together on reducing nuclear weapons.
@LibertyDownUnder I see the advantage. Even if there is no advantage that
is not the point, because: "there is no advantage" therefore they should be
doing something else is no proof.
@Ijustasking I am entirely un-surprised. I agree with that sentiment, that
Netanyahu's regime needs to come to an end (peacefully of course)... Then
again, so does Ahmadinejad's.
Actually, he's not doing either of those things. Our very own US
intelligence reports indicate that Iran HAS NOT decided to make a nuclear
weapon. Get your facts straight.
@LibertyDownUnder Nop you are bigot because you think the right of other
coutries doesn't matter without evidence, is not political correctness, is
their right to freedom.
The best option is that everyone decides to kill themselves. Then I go
last. Then the earth is here for the other creatures. Long live the earth.
God has saved the day.
they said they had no damning evidence that they can make public, but they
know he has. Why else would this be such a big issue with all these big
players?
