I do not know who "escbelgium3" is, but I wish that she/he/them would do
the Re-Caps for all years. escbelgium3 provides ALL the necessary
statistics and that is a great help. Almost all the other Recaps (not by
escbelgium3) are pretty useless as far as background information is
concerned. Please forward this message to escbelgium3, if possible. Thank
You.
France Gall really blew them all out of the water, even though her voice or
technique weren't as good. All the rest just sounded so stale and like one
another, she really was like a breath of fresh air. My be Italy came close,
but Gainsbourg's song was a work of a genius.
WOW!! You've done great work putting this together! I wish you could do the
same with a "Cancioneiro Internacional de Musica Popular" which they had in
the Sixties, in Brazil, which wasn't long-lived after that! Thanks for
posting! It was very interesting to view!
My top 18

My all-time favourite ESC, starring Ingvar Vixell, almost a classic
representing every single country. Gorgeous voices, perfect songs and
touching lyrics. 11 different languages. So Brilliant.
